    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Wanted to let it be known that myself and the other person above both independently reached out to the seller and in both cases a deposit was requested. We both, unknowingly to each other, said that we would pay full price when we picked up the turtles and the seller stopped responding in both cases. Beware that this may be a scammer but for now maybe he’s just….busy?
 
After a couple of days and the similar description with the other poster above I would steer clear from purchasing from this person….unless you don’t mind losing some ‘deposit’ money.

I found both your email address and phone # in other ads. bigbeef put his email address as a response to this ad. A scammer probably contacted both of you off-platform pretending to be the seller since you don't have to be a registered member to read ads.

It's a common problem on all forums, Facebook, etc. which is why comms should go through the platform messaging system and not your email or via text message.
 
You have a valid point. Ok so pricing and location? I asked for pricing earlier with no response so not sure why it was so quiet until now.
