In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is pure insanity, I tell ya. I don't know why or how it works--but man, it does work.

Recently I bought a group of non-feeder corns from a breeder. At the time, I didn't realize that some of them hadn't eaten anything in 2 months!

The breeder mentioned that he had just heard of a great trick for non-feeders.

WASH YOUR PINKIES IN IVORY SOAP!

That's right--go to Wal-Mart and buy a 3 pack of IVORY BAR SOAP for .87.

Then go home----unwrap a bar.

Thaw a pinkie out---

Make lotsa suds with the soap and plop that pinkie right into your palms.

Give it a good rubbin'/sudsin' and then rinse it off.

Dry it---and then offer it to your stubborn feeder!!

THEN--The most important thing-----POST YOUR RESULTS HERE!!!

I had 20 non-feeders that hadn't fed 4-8 weeks, after several attempts.

After offering those 20 "washed" pinks----17 of them ate immediately. The other 3 ate a couple days later.

Sorry if this is old news---but I just had to share!!! The more of us that can successfully breed and raise baby corns, the better it is for our hobby!!

P.S. Most of those "washed" eaters are now eating regular (non-washed) pinks!!!

GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHY THE HECK THIS WORKS!

Oh well--big whoop I suppose. I Googled it after posting and found a good number of posts about it.

That's just great. I probably got the corn snake mafia all jacked at me---like last year when I sold that snow corn for $10. I'm pretty sure that my neighbor's horse was standing there without a head when I drove past it today.

In case you're wondering--it doesn't work on humans.

I scrubbed from head to toe--and --- nuthin'.

Not quite as good as your results but impressive nonetheless. I had a really good year when it comes to non feeders. I only had about 65 out of almost 3,000 corns. I am down to about 40 of the most difficult. Some had taken anoles but most had not. I hit all 40 with a pink washed as described and 13 of them ate within an hour. Hopefully a few more will go by morning.

It's amazing. i have heard about this method since I have been breeding corns (Almost 20 years) and this is the first time I have tried it.

You can teach an old dog new tricks.

Thanks Mark

I am glad it worked!!

Try poking a hole in the head after washing it. YUMMY BRAIN GRAVY!!!
