    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I haven't audited the GGC section for a long time, but most certainly some people who are now participating in that program have let their paid membership here lapse. One of the terms of participation is that anyone participating in the GGC program must keep their paid membership current. Based on the fact that quite a few people have not renewed their memberships, I would expect that covers a fair number of members.

Anyone who has allowed their paid membership to expire will have their GGC revoked and the entry removed from that forum.

Please bear this in mind if you are a participant in that program. I will be going through that section just as soon as I have some spare time and weeding out those expired participants.

And quite honestly, if a majority of the current members have abandoned participation, then I will see no reason at all to continue with the program. It would be one less thing that I have to take care of if most people don't care to participate anyway.

In case you were wondering the other recent decision was not to allow people to see who gave them karma as you mentioned in another thread. It would probably further expand its intended effect if it was across the board.
