• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

FaunaClassifieds upgrade now in progress

I can't remember if I put this somewhere or not.

Unless we check " remember me " box at sign in , Laura and I get kicked while surfing the site.

If I've said this before , then just a friendly reminder.:D

Well, I'm not exactly sure why the developers of the software would want to make that an option for someone surfing a site, but it seems to me that maybe you should click that box when you sign in..... :shrug01:

We had been using IE for Laura and Firefox for me on my PC so we wouldn't have to keep signing in & out. Unfortunately IE on this PC ( Laura's PC ) is problematic so we were both using FF and not checking " remember me " so we wouldn't have to do the log out thing. Its not a big deal but its something that never happened before the upgrade.

Bry, you can tell the browser to clear your cache after each session. this way you have to log in after each use.

Just in case you haven't tried it, the Photo Gallery is back up and running....

How much effort is it to add smileys to the social group areas? :shrug01:

No big deal running without them, but they'd be cool to use, IF it's not much more then throwing a switch that is.

And the gallery even still has your pictures. Bunch of people are gonna like that.

Is their like a bulk delete function or something in the Gallery? I see I have multiple copies of the same pictures for some reason and I'd like to delete them without having to open ever single photo.

Sorry, but I don't see any options in the admin section to put smilies in the social groups.

Sorry, but no, there isn't as far as I know. I had the same problem when I wanted to delete a bunch of photos a long while back. It was so darn tedious, that I just left them there..........

I noticed this when ever I added a picture to another gallery. It seems to make a copy of the picture, for each gallery you have selected for it, and keeps it in your gallery. The ones I didn't put in the Boa gallery for example, only have the single copy in my gallery, the others have a copy for each gallery I shared it in.

Deleting is a pain in the butt! You enjoy yourself.

Hey rich, would it be possible to have an option to kick members from the social groups too?

Maybe im blind and just did not see it, but i think the option should be there for any number of reasons :)

Thanks!!!

Beats me. This is new to me also, and honestly I haven't had any time at all to play with it.

Did the links to the previous versions of the BOI "BOI#1 and BOI#2" get put back on the site? I can't find them.

Sorry, but no, I haven't put them in. #2 hasn't worked for a very long time now because during a server move, the database was not moved with the site. I *think* I have it captured as a mysqlcopy file, but I'm not really sure it is the correct file or not. Just haven't had the time to try it and see. Plus the problem of not being certain what the file name should be, and/or how to name it properly in the code so that subsequent server moves will copy the datafile automatically. I'm just not that fluent with the programming language Perl that the code was written in.
