    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm not sure why you are whining about this....How many people businesses have more than one thread about them?
This was started in another forum, and, because Reptster was specifically named & certain issues with Reptster's business were being discussed, it was subsequently moved here. Merging the two threads would have been a mess, as the posts would have landed in chronological order.

I'm going to suggest that if you have nothing to contribute to the topic, it probably isn't worth the effort for you to do so. If you want to ask questions about WHY things are the way they are here - the place to do that is the Feedback forum.
 
It's called a smear campaign! The more hate they can post about anyone, the more chances people that are fed up with the other thread full of hate will read a new one, but all you find is more hate.

I got this comment in my karma so I am not the only one that is wondering why we need 2 threads on the same subject.

I was not whining I was asking a legitimate question. How is this not contributing. There is no need to treat new members with disrespect and rudeness. A simple answer would have been fine.

In your first post, you attacked Deborah Broadus.

In your second post you directly stated that you had been around for awhile and just hadn't posted till recently.

Now you want some kind of special handling because you're "new" and you don't want to see people called out for their misdeeds.

And for what it is worth, this thread was started in a seperate forum with the poll attached- which could not be attached to the existing thread. Question answered.
 
Well, your contribution isn't so much to the topic, as it is a (topic disrupting) commentary about the fact that there is another thread. How this thread came to be here has been explained, and you have been directed toward the appropriate forum to further discuss your questions and/or feelings on the matter.

I read the rules here on fauna. I asked why there was another thread on the same topic. This thread was posted on the wrong forum and then moved. Seems to me some of you should read the rules and stop accusing me of not reading the posts.

I am familiar with the rules, and the infraction system....
Right now, I am sucking up a little bit of extra patience because I added a smart ass remark earlier. Mark - if you have anything to say that isn't a response to this poll, or doesn't express your view of Reptster's business practices, then post them someplace other than this thread. It really is that simple.

Well, it seems to be going the same way for some of us who are thinking Reptster was wrong. If we dare post our opinions we are accused, by more than one person lately, of being trolls or flamers.
My advice to you is that if you seriously do not like this thread, do not read it anymore. Its quite simple.

BTW-I am new here and have expressed my opinions in more than one thread here and have never been abused, so maybe your "I'm new so I'm picked on" complaint is just not true. Maybe you are getting flack because you seem to be asking for it. Seems to be a trait among Reptster followers. They post and whine and complain and call names. I think many of us are just getting sick and tired of it.

If Fauna is such an unfriendly and tough place to hang out, you are welcome to find a warm and fuzzy reptile forum to go hang out in.

No insult intended but it is REALLY getting old.
 
Let's leave the sidebar discussions for another place...no sense taunting him when he really shouldn't respond (hint, hint)
OR anybody risking getting their own infractions for maliciously off-topic discussion
