Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

a) This other guy may be a partner and you dont want to compromise him

I can guarentee that if I got scammed I would be plastering his name all over the place.

I think that is where many of the rest of us are coming from as well. This thread is hard to follow because there are so many names, emails and implied connections between them all.
I am not calling anyone a liar but I did notice that the writing style of some of these players are very similar to this guys as well.
You add all that up, and the fact that nothing seems to be verifiable as far as who works with who, who knows who, etc.... it leads many of us to think the worst.
Considering the amount of times that LAW Reptiles and their friends have popped up in the very recent past, its no wonder thats where peoples minds go to. Couple that with the uncooperative tone in the recent messages, it just does not look good.

The seller "NVP" has been linked to LAWreptiles via a website

The OP has been accused of being the mastermind behind the ohio scammers. (but has proven via an ID photo he is NOT the LAWreptiles dude)

Xanxaez is supposed to be the lookout.

Is that bout accurate?

Did the photo ID come with some sort of bill or something that comes in his name? The reason I say this - and I'm not trying to offend anyone - is that I work with some clients who seem to be easily able to get photo ID's made. A bill and a photo ID together might be better - just sayin'. ;)

your about right except im the op and im not the mastermind lol but i did make a phone call to one of the numbers listed in an email on here and spoke to a guy that answered to ronald rollins. after i kinda accused him he said that ***nvp*** michael spradlin is the guy that set up the fake websites and was part of all this stuff so i posted what i was told and Alicia i have all the photos so pm me you email and ill shoot them over to ya
 
almost about right except i have nothing to do with this or these people. i tried to tell people they were doing this and bashed them then i get brung into it by someone saying they think i could be the jay guy. i am in no way him or affiliated with him. im just a small personal collector and because i bashed these names on here my name gets brung into it saying i could be him lmao. i guess trying to respond to ads and tell people what i had heard from friends and other herpers and i had seen them at a show brings me in with them? rather sadening but oh well. try to help others out and tell them what i heard and i seen the people and then i become affiliated with them somehow lol . guess i will no longer try to save people money or reptiles even if i hear bad things on people because it isnt worth the trouble after this. i dont sell or breed animals and i dont buy much so all i can say is good luck to the rest of you in finding things out so that you dont waste time or get took because i will never try to help anyone else out again.
 
First off I just wanted to say, WOW!! I finally got a chance to read through all this mess. I just wanted to say I was very suspicious of this from the get go. When I got the email from Michael I also saw the similarities in Michaels emails and that of the known alias of Matt Allen. Although I felt that at the slight chance that this guy is who he says he was and was only trying to help, I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt and will look into this further before I start making accusations.

Honestly I just couldn't make sense of the fact that if he was the person that scammed me in the first place, why would he give me all these names and numbers and even offered me their addresses? Other then the fact that maybe he was just trying to throw me off, which really wouldn't have happened in the first place. It was just more names and addresses I would add to the police and IC3 reports.

Now for the similarities that I saw. First off was the spelling and the low battery excuse. Then there was the claim that the scammer was some parolee, which I couldn't find anything on. This seemed awfully familiar to the email that was sent to Chris Huffman that was meant to intimidate him?

Then there was this below.

This was pretty much the same thing that Matt Allen had said when I told him that I was going to file the report with the police.

I apologize for bringing your name into this. I just wanted to post the emails that this person sent to me. If you had nothing to do with this I'm sure you will be fine. No one is trying to crucify anyone just for the fun of it here. We're all only trying to help the next person so they don't get scammed. Stay true to your word and if its true you will be just fine.
 
it's no problem at all. well kind of it is because it makes me look bad and i have nothing to do with it or them. so i guess once all of this mess is straightened out some of these people will see and understand as to why it pissed me off that i was brung into it. i gave all of my info out and even told them to call 411 they can give them my number because i am listed in the phone book. im a beginner/learner and posted the pics lol

I haven't read this entire post, so forgive me if this has been answered. But yes that is Jay. Both Jay and Donald have been to my house and looked at my entire collection. And coincidentally, I've done business with Matt Williamson too. And Matt, Donald and Jay have all done business. I posted in the Allen Williamson thread about my deal with Matt about a retic I traded to him, I mentioned he got rid of it without notifying me. He sold it to Donald, who then tried to sell it as a granite back when it was just a normal. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I know all three of these men and have met them all in person. Luckily for me, I wasn't truly ripped off. Scares me that all of this is coming out of my general area, lol! I figured dealing local would be sort of a safety net, but I guess not. The closest thing to ripping me off they ever came was Donald/Jay trying to buy $3,000 worth of animals/stuff from me for $1,000 or less, but of course that's not going to happen. I figured they were just wheeling/dealing type of folks (which already give me not-so-good-vibes) but nothing serious. I love the BOI, always busting the bad guys! Thank you guys!

If those guys had been in my house and seen my entire collection I think I would take some extra security measures. They are a bunch of thieves!
 
I have plenty of great ref's to vouch for my validity.... Mark Petros.... Sean Trimbach....Scott Micheals...Alejandro Lozano...Mike Jones....I have been vending the eastern ky and morehead shows regularly and any vender there can vouch....I just did some biz with BHB...Dave Mcgowan...Reptile basics.. Cory at bradfordcole...Brian Fontaine.....all trades and sells went beautifully and I'd appreciate it if you would back off Tim. I was duped by a few fellows in the forementioned post and thats the end of it. It has plagued my business ever since via internet but not in person. If someone would do some digging they would find out that those guys where caught at the all ohio show for stealing and have been banned from the shows.

So Mikey you think its wrong for someone to mention that you a person that has tried to scam people is back on these forums trying to sell again? If so I admit to being wrong but it doesn't change what I was doing when I brought this thread up. That is to warn people that a man that was trying to scam people in this hobby and never cleared his name.
 
Wow after reading all 16 pages of this post it really pisses me off a as a newer honest breeder becouse it makes sells really hard for the honest that has not been around for years!This is one reason i will not buy any hets myself.

Hi,My names Jeff Murphy.First off,I have to say that I'm glad that there are people looking out for us(reptile keepers).I just did some dealings with R.E.M. EXOTICS (***npv***).Found that nothing could have been handled better.I'm very happy with my snake and with out a doubt I would and will deal with them again.In none of my dealings,be it on the net. or in person did I ever get an uneasy feeling.Again I thank everyones efforts in keeping the scum out of the business.But my dealings with them went as smooth as could be.
