Sure folks have things in their past that they may regret...and I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting some ancient arrest record coming to light. But what does that have to do with being elusive (lying???) about your own name and refusing to answer direct questions about the issue at hand?

I can't recall a single BOI incident where a thread starter was allowed to get away with such huge holes in their dialogue. The more I read of this, the more I am thinking that the truth of who Sloan is is somehow blinding folks to the fact that there may be something equally fishy with the OP.

While it is true that no matter how fishy she may be, it does not excuse threats to her personal well being and especially not those to her children. That is sickening to me, no matter who she is. But that does not mean that who she is does not matter!

Which would all be why I prefaced my post with "Not that I am condoning anything...."

I am not excusing her in any manner. I am simply saying that her past indiscretions, if in the past, have nothing to do with the situation at hand.

Because there is obviously more to this story than meets the eye at this point. What or who would be served by locking it right now? I doubt you are any more psychic than I am to be able to say that this thread will or will not eventually display some info of value to someone.

BTW, locking threads is not going to be a common event around here. At least not to simply end a discussion, regardless of what it is about or where it is going. It will happen, of course, but only under extreme circumstances.

And no...we still don't have all the information....unless you're saying that what "rogerF" posted is all true....about how you met Sloan in the first place and about your "relationship" with him. Which means you lied about that as well.

I don't care if you have a colorful past. But I do care about how you're treating the present. I hope Sloan gets all he has coming to him and I hope you and your children remain safe, no matter what. But...so far as I can see, you are no more trusthworthy than he is.

I've stayed out of this so far, but this whole time I've felt very uneasy about Lisa/Marissa. The way she posted very little evidence, the way she evaded answering questions...to be honest, if this wasn't about Sloan (who is decidedly the most disgusting, awful, nauseating, and pathetic man alive) she would have been called out much sooner than this.

I think the one that really loses in this situation is the daughter.

"Roger's" description of this person's mental health status is seeming more and more accurate. It appears obvious to me that Sloan already knows her true name, where she lives (he sent her a snake), her phone number, and other personal details. At this point, how is changing her name and location on a forum protecting her?

Yep.... it is definately muddy......especially if you take the following quote into consideration.... and considering the fact that I believe in one of the few emails she posted.... or maybe it was from one of the links provided... Sloan called her Marissa. Has any of our super sluths been able to validate anything that has been quoted below. Im not putting much stock into that one post since it was the only one posted from this individual... but it does muddy the waters.

She is a member of reptilegeeks.com where she met Sloan. There are plenty of posts by both of these idiots to prove they were involved in a long distance love affair - if two losers can have a love affair. She posted many comments that she loved him and she wanted to be with him. Marissa Miller is also a moderator on thetegu.com under the username \"angelrose\". My take on it is that Marissa is the female counterpart to Sloan. Maybe they will take each other out or ride off into the sunset together and leave us all alone. LOL

She did have a relationship with Sloan. They did tell everyone on RG and tegu they were in love and together. Sloan did send her snakes. She has said so and offered to pay him for them in a post he put on there today. It is from her e-mail. Marissa does have sexually explicit - more so that sloan - pics on the net. I have the site if anyone wants it. She ain\'t that attractive but any nude pics could be a turn on for some ! She also does have arrests for prostitution and drugs. This is posted as well. If you google Marissa Miller - you will see it. It is available for sale all over the net. In addition, and not to defend either of these crazies - Sloan did post very clearly that he was and never made any threats against her or her kids and stated clearly that he would use private investigators and the courts to get his snakes/money back. Keep in mind that I think these two deserve one another. She is as crazy as Sloan is. She is also a moderator on thetegu and can manipulate what Sloan posts to her advantage. Marissa also posted that she received the three snakes in question a red tail boa, a tiger retic and a super tiger retic from \" the love of her life\". She also posted pics of them. Now she can say that they were from someone else, but she clearly had a relationship with Sloan.

I\'m not taking sides, but first of all \"Lisa\" is lying to us here by saying she is Lisa instead of Marissa and that she lives in NE instead of Levittown, PA where she really lives. Her story is self serving and one sided and does not ad up. Anyone who wants to know should contact Sloan - he posted this on thetegu and he can provide her e-mails and nude photos. I got them and he clearly sent her the snakes and she clearly agreed to compensate him for them - even offering to pay him if he sent her receipts.

Both of these people are scammers. Leave them both alone !

That says she did not solicit the snakes as a sale.
Deb, you need to get out more if you think that a guy on the net wouldn't send naked pics to a female. Seriously. All you have to do in some chats is to say "hi" and they will send you pics, naked pics, naked videos... you name it. It is the anonymous nature of the internets.
That said, AngelRose needs to actually answer the basics of the thread.

Posting the emails would help, and screenshots of the thetegu threads would have been nice, since it's all deleted.

All the threats and harrassment he posted would be punishable by law. But if you were to charge him with posting your info on the net, you would be charged similarly, sicne you posted his info on here too.
None of the stuff posted excuses his threats against you, your family, or your pets/house.
I hope you can get some legal action taken.

There's no reason for posting all the emails. None at all.

She doesn't have to reveal anything about her past, if she doesn't want to. However, I am a bit jaded when it comes to trusting the word of someone.

All we have here is actually what she says. I mod on another forum too, so I know exactly how easy it would be to edit some posts in my favor (not that I would and Harald is my "watch dog." But the emails to her don't say anything about her children (unless I missed something). It's quite simple to do screen shots (I just don't know how) and ink out any bad words.

How about scanned shots of police reports??

All I am seeing is a story told by a female in which she says , this and that. I don't even know if she really does have children! I know nothing but what she's saying a the few emails she posted don't support that he's threatening her children. The emails support nothing other than he thought there was something going on between them and now is getting the impression that she doesn't actually care.

Call me stupid, but I don't actually believe that a man with his reputation that has never gotten caught is actually as dumb as he seems to be by her story. "Saw her pic, said a few words, gave her snakes with no encouragement, and when rejected is threatening her kids."

Like I said before (did I?) There are female scammers that con lonely men out of snakes. I, personally, and a few other would like to see some supporting evidence. I am not easily manipulated by emotions...and I am extremely curious.

I am quite familiar with the affairs of the heart. If they were actually were having a "relationship," she would not need to ask for anything..she would need only to mention that she wanted them and the one that wanted to win her heart would go get them. Female scammers work like this.

I also know of the types of guys that send nakkid pics (I have quite a collection). These are two different modus operati functioning here. The guys that send nakkid pics are not likely to send 1K animals without being asked or "encouraged."

What I saw was WEBCAM pics. I may be completely dense to how "hearing" people do it, but a webcam implies a two way conversation. Also, he's not angry in the webcam as he sounds later in the emails. He also said something to the effect that he's getting the impression she doesn't give a damn about him (paraphrasing)..where did he get the idea that she ever did to send her 1k of snakes?? Sloan doesn't write as if he's an idiot.

I would like (thank you JudyC) to know the whole story, or in my book, she's no better.
