    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok thanks ive been asking him for pics of the geckos for over 6 days now and he keeps telling me ill have them tomorrow and like i said 6 days of hearing that and now seeing that i think im going to pass on the geckos thanks for your help
 
Luc has bought geckos from me in the past and seems like a nice guy.

People do get busy...I wouldn't think he's a bad guy just because he hasn't sent pictures as fast as you think he should. :eek:
 
Luc is young, and while I haven't done business with him, I have been in contact with him on several occasions. I think he has some maturing to do, but shows a true willingness to learn from his own experiences, and while he is sure to hit some bumps in the road, I'm hopeful that he has a bright future. BTW, Dan S. has a way of bringing out the worst in people, and Luc is no exception.

Having said that, if there's issues early on in a deal, especially when there's been contact, but no follow through, I have a habit of telling the seller, "Whenever you get a chance". If the seller wants the sale and cares about my business, he will follow through. If not, the ball is in his court and he's lost the sale...his choice.
 
he seems like a nice guy but he just keeps pushing back the deal he said "give me two weeks i would like to fatten them up with waxworms first" and now hes keeps delaying the pics witch makes me second guess but dont get me wrong he has been keeping contact but i just get worried ive been burned on deals 2 times this year alone

My personal feeling is that if the animal isn't fit for sale (or pictures) now, then don't advertise it til it is. If a problem develops, pull the advertising and be upfront with the customer...and, money has been taken, return it. If the customer still wants the animal when it is ready, he can re-issue payment. (not saying that Luc is holding anybody's money)
 
Since Luc is suppedly only 17, and brings his father into deals, says he "co-owns" a bunch of reptiles with his father, I would personally either steer away, or make the deal with the father.
Just my two cents.

luc sent me the pics and has kept contact the whole time but know its to late i was going halfs with someone and they backed out cause they didnt trust it and thats not my fault so sorry luc maybe one day we can do busniss i think your a good guy who has to much on your plat and next time ill go at this by myself

The reason for me not posting all of the e-mails is because they were not relevant the the problem you were having.

Cory the deal was not bad on both sides. I think the main reason for you backing out is simply because your friend backed out and you don't have the funds to pay for them. All I did was post our e-mails, If you think that makes you look bad then I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about that.

I never tried to hide that fact.
