    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I received a call from the shelter today, they had an iguana that needed a home. They were going to put her down if she was not taken soon. She is quite alert and eating, she has a good amount of body weight at 5.2 pounds. Her personality seems to be curious and she was a tad frightened coming home today, but does not lash out (like our other girl). All in all I am impressed by her calmness for being in a new environment. She needs a name.

The burns really bother me, they look intentional and rather recent, when the shelter first got her the wounds were fresh, she was adopted out and returned within 3 weeks time, which they then called me. Either way we have her now and she is no longer being fed iceburg lettuce the shelter was feeding her. The first thing she was treated with was fresh fruit, which really perked her up.

poor girl. She looks like a nice iggy though. So different how the girls look compared to the boys. * or maybe i am just crazy, but i think there is a difference* LOL

Good on ya for taking this girl in. :)

Awwwww, Michael! She is just beautiful. Poor girl just needs someone to love her and not hurt her, and I do believe she found just that person.

I heard you were thinking of a particular type of name. How about Blaise (pronounced Blaze)? I'm sort of partial...it's my son's middle name.

She's such a lucky girl that she found you, and I know you'll make sure she lives many years of full of happiness.

Yeah, the girls are different. Not as spectacular looking as the males with the large jowls and long spikes, but their personalities can make up for that.

Blaise huh? As cool as that is, I found a female name that is suiting for this beautiful girl. Anala meaning fire.

This is an interesting link with the use of that name http://vedabase.net/a/anala We like this line "anala — like the fire of devastation"

Awwwww Michael, bless you for giving this poor girl somewhere to go.

Those burns sure don't look like anything accidental to me, either...humans can be so effing evil. It's a damn good thing there's folks like you to balance things out.

Very cool name too, I like.
