He promised me a pied repeatedly~ even after I told him I did not expect a pied. I have that email~ I'll get it if he tries to say he didn't. I told him what I wanted was for him to share whatever he produced from them with me~ I think that was my wording. I don't think I even asked for a hypo~ just that he share with me if he was lucky enough to prove them. This was a male supposedly het hypo that I got from a reputable source and his baby daughters over two years. The 06 babies were that male bred to a normal female~ the 07 babies where that male bred to supposed 100% het hypo female (he did not get that female!). That supposed 100% het hypo male and 100% het hypo female had failed to produce hypo's over 2 years (07 and 08) breeding and 15 babies. I was disgusted with the project and just wanted it gone. Wish I'd chosen who got it more carefully.
I really didn't expect him to send me a pied though he promised. I expected him to pay shipping and forget about me actually.........and I would not have put his name on the BOI if he had just done that.

Why try to put that kind of spin on things - you didn't pay her. Regardless of whether she needed the money, or just didn't want to (in effect) pay for the privilege of giving you 7 snakes in exchange for a promise, you owe her the money. You earned your place on the BOI.
BTW, how is the money order on the way? The post office is closed, so you couldn't have purchased or sent it. (besides, you admitted you haven't sent it when you said you would take pics when you do)

Well, in a way, you are correct about that - I think we all feel sorry for her...that she got stuck with a deadbeat that tried to stiff her for $35 lousy dollars.

Not meaning to imply that you are doing anything wrong. A promise is a promise..but if he's having a problem with 35.00..why give yourself this stress? If he can't come up with 35.00...it's doubtful that he may have Pieds, or hets laying around.

Okay~ Here goes:
The ad the LIAR responded to in the first place (some of you probably read this when I posted it on Fauna but he replied from Kingsnake and this is a cut and paste of the email KS sneds when you post a new ad~ I only cut and pasted the part pertaining to the ghost project~ but if you want to weed through the mess I’ll put the whole ad up)
The ad:
This first takes some explaining. It is a failed project I’m disgusted with~ selling them as normals. The story is~ I purchased a male 100% het ghost donated by Mark and Kim Bell at the 2003 NARBC auction. I bred him in 06’ to a normal female and held back 0.2 50% het ghost daughters. In 06’ I purchased from Evan Stahl a proven het Bell line hypo (Ghost) female. I bred her in 07’ to the 100% het Ghost male described above. Seven healthy NOT GHOST babies were produced from the pairing. I held back 0.4 66% het ghost daughters from this pairing. In 08’ I again bred the 100% het male from the Bells to the 100% het Bell line female from Stahl. Six healthy NOT GHOST babies were produced in 08’. I wholesaled out the entire 08’ clutch as normals. I am disgusted with the project. I trust both the Bells and Evan Stahl as honest business people so the best I can figure is either I have the worst luck EVER ~ OR ~ a mistake was made somewhere and someone sent me the wrong ani!
mal (since I take photo ID of patterns on the snakes as soon as I get them there is little or any chance I mixed them up~ I’ve checked their IDs to ensure they ARE the snakes I received labeled as het ghosts). IF someone made a mistake IDing one of the hets before I received and photo IDed them~ then the daughters are either 66% hets or 50% hets or NORMALS. I’m disgusted with the project and just so DONE trying to figure it out! I’ve sent the female off with a friend who has a het bell line ghost male for her to try with and I just want the male and ALL 6 of his daughters GONE!! I’m DONE with the ghost project. These are to be sold as NORMALS and if you want to attempt to prove they are not just NORMALS more power to you~ I HOPE someone can do it~ but I’ve got other projects I actually care about and need the rack space!!!! So………..

Since then I’ve gotten 4 emails from him~ amazing how responsive he is now

You don't actually think he's sending me anything do you? I'm not getting that $35 check OR a ghost OR a pied OR anything else. I was yanking his chain to see how much more he would froth at the mouth when I told him I'd be back for my 09' pied male. I never expected to get one~ and I most certainly do not expect to one from him in 09! My word~ he just tried to say he called me and I was fine with all this WHILE I WAS ONLINE WATCHING HIM POST! LOL. The truth and him are not good friends and I know that. Just letting everyone else know in case he thinks he's gonna breed my snakes and make any money off them!
