In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Rare Pythons in Niagara Falls NY

LOL, here we go again with "the wolves".....

It doesn't take much, really, to appear professional while shoveling a load of BS.

Offer stands, Einstein collective.
I'll assume that this refers to Chris' offer to have people come to his facility...rather than your inane offer to go if we collect $500 to pay your way. You're awfully quick to criticize, Mr Stonegate...if you want somebody to go check things out, drag your butt over there.

Problem is (besides all of the previously mentioned reasons why a visit to his place wouldn't prove much), for any of us to believe what was "found" there, the visit would have to be conducted by someone we felt was trustworthy, ethical, and honest. Someone like Harald, who I believe was involved in the discussion at an earlier point.

If anything, while I have had differences of opinion with John before, John is brutally honest. I would trust his impression of what he saw there....you, well......not so much.

But again, bickering amongst ourselves solves nothing.

What in the Hell does "bickering amongst ourselves" mean? I don't know you from Adam.

Aww Chris, you were doing so well! (in replying here, at least)
Oh well.
For the industry's sake I hope he's serious about trying to be legit, and gets some BP experts in to properly ID things, etc.

I wasn't that quick, Mr Moore. My "inane" offer is what is is. Now you can shut the Hell up, and stop trying to to act intelligent.

With so many cbb ball pythons available these days... and with the market value of morphs plumetting... why on earth would anyone with half a brain want to "invest" in wild caught, gravid females? I don't see how these flesh peddlers make any money off these snakes.

I'm not certain why this is so challenging for you to understand? I'm not going to look up the definitions of the words for you....but in simple terms, the thread is about Chris/Rare Pythons, not anyone else who has participated in the thread. If you want to pick fights with others, it'd be best taken elsewhere, as it serves no purpose here. :shrug01:

I agree, Kelli. Unfortunately, it really does go back to that whole "lottery" mentality, and that mentality is propagated by those who don't give a crap about anything but making that "fast and hard buck" selling the poor critters. Hatch out the newest, greatest, never seen before morph....you know the lines.

Discussion about WC gravids aside...
Have any of the descriptions of the non-morphs been changed yet? Since you said that you would change the description, and there's several experienced ball python people here who have told you they are not morphs... are the descriptions changed yet? I won't even say you should change the price, since if someone wants to pay $500 for a normal female, that's their business. But improperly claiming morph status for normals is fraud. Especially since you've had it pointed out to you.
Bill Stonegate, if you're serious about going, then suck it up and go. You didn't offer to pay anyone else's way to get there. So pay your own way.
Until I see legitimate ads, for properly described pythons(described correctly as flipped animals as well), I'll assume that Rare Pythons is still a fraudulent practice, not attempting to correct the "mistakes" he's made in the past.

The baby balls in the pic were separated later on, that was the bin we first put them in after they started hatching out before their first shed.
Yep that is exactly what I am talking about, I was not referring about them being kept together (it is a common practice done by many breeders to keep them together until their first shed) I was referring to the substrate they were kept on until their first shed.

But hey what do I know I don’t hatch 1000 to 2000 eggs a year depending on the year

the feedback I have gotten has been for professional praise.
Where are those customers and what did they buy? If those customers bought a normal male for $15 at a show chances are they will not complain, however I would be curious to hear from the customers that bought one of your “Desert Ghost” or one of your “Red Paradigm”, right now they might be happy with their purchase thinking they have something special however I call tell you that in 2 years from now when all they produce are normal babies they will be on here making a thread about you, somehow though by the time those animals do not prove out I have a feeling you will be long gone.

The fact is if you were not called out once again, you would have kept selling $10 normal for $5000 morphs that there is no doubt about it.

Now as far as visiting you facility, what it is gonna prove??? That you have a bunch of wild caught animals in your facility and a bunch or normal for sale and that you doon’t know how to properly setup your hatchlings! So what? That’s not the point here, the point is you are trying to sell animal for what they are not.

Hey Chris, do you do any advertising other than WC gravids on fauna and selling at a couple shows? You seem to be an anamoly in the reptile business, as people are beating down your door to buy thousands of animals, yet those who we see advertising, placing ads, or that have been doing shows for YEARS, have been just making it lately, what with the market and economy and such. I haven't seen any type of online advertising from you on any other forums or websites....are you carrying a bunch of glowing rabbit's feet around?

alright I will ask some questions.

The person that seen you at the show said you had snakes labeled as morphs. Were this snakes hatched from eggs from these wild caught ball pythons? If so how can you be sure they are PROVEN morphs and sell them as such. Untill raised up and bred to prove a trait how can you say it is a morph.

IMO all the snakes posted in this thread were normals. Nothing more then plain normals.

I have bought WC gravids in the past. I will not be doing it again. The females are not 100% and they go through a lot. Also the females sometimes will not breed the next season or the season after that. This is a fact many leave out when selling them. Yes some will.... But most will not.

Chris
Why not label animals as they are. If you hatch a cool animal label as such. A cool looking captive hatched baby.

I raise an eyebrow for one reason. I heard about you last year. Right around this time. But then you dropped off the face of the earth. I also do many many shows a year. Then again you show up during WC gravid season. Makes you go HMMMMM....... You know.

But whatever I am not here to bust you up. I am not here to play good guy bad guy. I honestly want to know if all your morphs you have list are WC, Captive hatched, or Captive Bred PROVEN morphs?

I do understand that; but what I'm saying is they won't give off any more light than is shining on them. So, unless someone has put a UV lamp in the potential GFP-snake's cage and leaves it on all the time, it really shouldn't be stressful.
If you turn off all the lights, they won't glow at all, no more than a neon shirt would glow if you had the lights off. If they are anywhere not next to a blacklight, they won't glow. So they're still free to be nocturnal as long as their keeper doesn't try to set up a 24-hr display.
It's really not very different from taking a normally dark colored snake and making them light, bright colors; this also increases the amount of light they reflect.

The only reason someone would make a "glow in the dark snake" is to have an excuse to "show it off". That means the animal would be subjected to repeated and unnecessary handling and stress in order to impress and entertain people for the "cool" factor. How is repeatedly stressing an animal out healthy for it in the long run?

Chris I ask you this as I have been looking at your site.

You list this snake as a WC animal

http://www.rarepythons.com/zenny/in...id=183&zenid=326bab30b77d0c590d36c4bec34c2eef

You say it is a proven breeder
You say it is a desert Ghost
You say it is a Yellow Belly

Will you put a $15000.00 guarantee out that if I bought this animal and bred it to a Yellow Belly(HET IVORY) I would produce Ivories, Desert Ghosts and maybe A Desert Ghost Ivory. I know the combo is a shot in the dark but I should produce Ivories CORRECT?

I am just wondering. If it trully is a Desert Ghost Yellow Belly I should produce Ivories and Desert ghosts from this animal the first year I breed it to my Yellow Belly...
