    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am not spamming this board; this thread had a new post on it so I posted a reply a bit of a recap and update.

You can belittle my reply to you all you want with one word answers, the fact is you don't know me or how I receive opinions expressed to me. I have expressed an opinion and practice towards KS and I stand by it. Your reply does nothing more then to keep this thread alive and kicking. Your contribution puts this thread in the light of day were it belongs. Your help in making people aware that KS is not a place I wish to do business with is greatly appreciated.

KS is just a pain in the :censored: to work with! I just had 6 ads removed for violating their TOS. Some of these same ads are posted here and elsewhere without problem.

Their problem? While I am allowed to advertise that I am open to trades, I can't say what I'm open to accept. So after posting detailed ads with detailed descriptions, pics, and prices, I have them all removed for posting "Open to trades for trophy JCP females". It doesn't matter that I also have an ad in their trade section (as I do here). Neither does it matter that I don't want a bunch of people contacting me with all their BP's they don't want anymore.

Well, I'm off to re-post a bunch of stuff....what a :censored: inconvenience!

KS does NOT want trade ads in the want/for sale forums. That is why there is a separate forum specifically for trade listings.

Example: You are posting an albino ball python for sale in the ball python classifieds. However, while that animal is for sale, you also would not mind trading that albino for something else (does not matter if it's for another bp morph or some other animal). You can only include in the ad that you are "open to trades". You are NOT allowed to mention what specific animals you are actually hoping to get in trade for your albino. The moment you start listing animals you want in trade you can expect that they will pull your ad. And from what I can tell, it is also ok to put in your for sale ad something along the lines of "see my list of animals in the Trade forum for more info"
 
Well, it looks like I had a run of bad luck with some carpet sexes, and the following are now up for sale. These are all males....I assure you!!!

First: '06 Jungle Carpet Python produced by Jane McPhereson. This guy is a very mild mannered snake and takes f/t rats (though he prefers them warm). He has great banding and although his yellow isn't the brightest I've seen, it's still pretty clean. $175 SHIPPED.

Second: '07 "Red" Jungle Carpet Python produced by Larry Kenton. He's firey, but a cool little guy to have around. Eats F/T weaned rats w/ abandon!!! Really cool pattern, but he's just starting to go opaque in this photo. $225 SHIPPED.

Last: '06 Jungle x Coastal Cross. Very friendly carpet unless you're a rat. He pounds f/t small rats. This guy WILL breed for you this year!!! I learned he was a male when I placed him with a female during routine cage cleaning...he EAGERLY tried hooking up within minutes!!! Only problem is that he doesn't fit into my plans right now. $200 shipped.

Not saying they were in violation of their TOS, just saying that pulling this ad because it is a "trade ad" is a pain in the rear end and therefore makes dealing w/ KS inconvenient.

Trade Ads - No "trade" ads are allowed in the sale-type classified sections. We have classified sections for these and they need to be placed there. You may mention in a sales ad that you will accept trades, but if you list what you want to trade in the ad, the ad will be removed.

He was in direct violation of their TOS. He listed specific animals he wanted in trade for his animals that he had listed for sale. It is their site and their rules. If people don't like the rules the site then why the heck buy an account in the first place.

It is getting a bit ridiculous at how many people come here to the BOI to whine and cry about getting caught breaking the rules over on KS and then try to act like they were not at fault when they get slapped on the wrist by KS. When you sign up to use the site over there you agree to follow their rules whether or not if you agree with those rules. If someone finds the rules so repulsive that they literally know they can't honor them then they should have the common sense to not sign up to use the site.
 
Mr. Forrester, that is my ad, and I'm not whining or complaining. I think you misunderstood my statement. What I meant is that KS was not in violation of their own TOS in removing the ad. They were well within their guidelines and rights to remove it, and I will re-submit without listing specific animals I will accept in trade. I was merely pointing out that having to do so is somewhat inconvenient.

That's all...no whining, no bashing, just not crazy about this part of their TOS. I do take responsibility for not adhering to the letter of their TOS.

Sorry about that. I didn't notice the actual name from the ad to see that you were one and the same. It's just that there have been several people of late coming here to complain about "unfairly" pulled posts, being "unfairly" banned, not being allow to purchase an account, etc. only to find out KS apparently did have reason to deny them service.
 
You must play a lot of call of duty... I love those little war comments they toss at you when you die..
