    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am looking to get my first tarantula sometime this summer, but I am a little unsure of which one to get. I don't plan on handling them too much, maybe a little. To be honest these things really used to creep me out, but they just seem more beautiful and awesome the more I see them. Any thoughts?
 
[FONT=&quot]The most common starter Tarantula is the Rose hair. They are normally docile, cheep and readily available at most reptile shows and some pet stores. Chaco Golden Knees are another good choice. Pink toes are cool also but quite a bit faster being more of an arboreal species. While a lot of the more colorful ones like the Cobalt Blue look awesome they tend to be suitable for the more advanced keeper and tend to be aggressive. I'd suggest doing a little research, feeling free to ask questions here and get ready to get hooked on them.[/FONT]
