Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thinking of ordering some painted turtles from these guys, anybody had any experience with them? They also operate under the name Tarantula Inc and Reptiles/Varanus Inc.

If there is a previous thread someone could refer me to, I'd appreciate it - I couldnt find anything on here about them so far....
 
I've dealt with them and they went out of their way to look out for me. Here's what I came up with just typing Theresa Westfall into the search function. They own/operate Shelby Reptiles, which appears to be a parent company of the others (Tarantula Inc, Turtle Inc). I would certainly buy from them again.

They have vended at my shows before, and I saw them recently at the NARBC in Arlington. Good folks!

Hey, just wanted to give an update --

I ordered a few turtles from these guys, specifically 2 eastern painteds, a midland painted, and an ouachita map c.b. 08 hatchlings. They were very prompt with great communication, and the turtles arrived next day and packed very well - with styrofoam insulation and everything. I've had bad experiences in the past with other online turtle purchases, but I would never hesitate to buy from them again! They have EXCELLENT customer service -- I would highly recommend Turtleinc to anyone interested in high quality turtles at very reasonable prices. Thumbs up to Theresa Westfall and Justin Hiykel and hope to do more business in the future!!
 
I will add that I just bought a group of razorback musk turtles from Justin, and for being field collected adults, they were in great shape and a fair price.

I would definitely do business with them if they had something else I was looking for.
