    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't mean to inundate this guy's ad with off-topic bickering, but I would personally be extremely insulted if someone were to offer a tenth of the value for something that I had personally spent time, money, space, and energy caring for. I'm sure you can understand why that would be the case. You claim to have made your offers in "fun", but it looked to me like you were just trying to sucker someone into selling his snake for a pittance.

Hmm... I guess the ad should've been a bit more specific if you didn't want the "fun" offers.. possibly a "reasonable offer" or... a price with OBO after it.. something to where you'd at least get a base set price across. You never really know when someone is needy to get rid of a snake, and using that to your advantage isn't always a bad thing.. (I do NOT speak from experience ;) )

I picked up my last pastel male at $60 so if they wouldn't have beat me to it, I would've been right along with 'em offering $50 since nothing was specified.

Anywho.. did you come up with a decent price on this guy? You can PM me if you need to, I may be interested.
 
Sorry, havent been able to check in a while. I was looking at about 100 or so. Sorry guys. And I see the "fun" angle, but you know it wouldn't happen.

Seriously, you should probably put a base price/OBRO...somehow this thread turned into an auction! You don't have to stand by the price you post, but it does give everyone something to run with.
