In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here is an excerpt for you.

YOU have to take responsibility and ownership of the words you post here. So take great care in how you craft your statements. Once you submit your message, it will be here PERMANENTLY, no matter what happens afterwards.

It's the kind of policy that protects this site and holds its posters to accountability for their own actions.

Simply put, you could have typed, Joel, I sent you the funds, I don't know what happened and worked it out. Then those viewing the thread could see it was a simple misunderstanding and how you Handel those misunderstandings. They could see your professionalism at work and know what to expect when working with you. Problems can sometimes happen, miscommunication does happen, it is how you handle it.

There is always an opportunity to make a positive out of a situation.

The site is set up the way it is and the rules are very clear. Instead of whining and complaining about it you could show a little tacked.

Those snakes do not look anywhere near healthy...
Anyone else notice that they look VERY underweight, especially around their heads???

I wouldn't pay a dime for those snakes... and if I did receive them in a purchase, I would have been EXTREMELY unhappy with the transaction.

Chris, you either do not care about the quality of animals you're keeping/shipping out, or you honestly do not know the difference between a healthy snake and one that is unhealthy...
Either way, I would strongly suggest re-evaluating your "business" strategies...

From what i see here, you're not looking like the type of person I'd ever want to do any business with...

Chris when did you make the drastic leap from keeping barking tree frogs to selling imports/snakes/lizards?

why do you care what i do, spawn. ive never done anything to you and you take it upon yourself to go out of your way to mess with me. thats ok, whatever takes up your spare time i guess......

This is just wrong! these boas are being kept in a filty fish tank with little or no substrate. my guess is that there is no supplemental heat on them of any type :(

Chris, you posted these pics in your own defence....why?

All you did was show us all another reason what we should stay away from any animal that you have for sale.

Maybe these pics are your boas under the best of conditions, if so I dont want to see the worst. :(

Bear in mind, Chris, if you're going to start selling animals worth more than your $10.00 barking tree frogs (you remember when you were so excited about those guys? the threads with pictures still exist...), people are going to poke and prod about your business.

Rather than get defensive, do a double-take and reread the title of the thread. You've got TWO threads in your name now in the short, short career you've had going. It would behoove you to start acting like an adult/professional.

And for the record, no, you didn't do anything personally to me, other than make me look like an idiot when I stuck up for you a few months ago in that thread regarding the beardies that you were owed money for and you made a blanket statement about everyone in New Jersey being trash or something to that effect? And then a couple months down the road I find out you're taking money yourself but not sending out your animals. But I digress greatly...

I'm asking you to explain what you've been up to as an objective, hypothetically prospective buyer. If you consider that an attack - don't answer. Silence in your case is more powerful than words...and I'll add has been in your other longer-running thread where you dodged questions/comments because you were in debt.

Wow, just oozing with professionalism to this customer.

We care what you do because this is a community. We help and try to protect each other from the likes of you.

People here share their good news- new snakes, eggs perhaps, even milestones in their lives. Unfortunately for you, they share their bad news too, and from what I've seen so far, you are real bad news.

thank god i quarantined these two snakes i got from chris! the worst of the 2 died today! my vet appt. is tomorrow. so at least she can check out the one still alive and tell me if it is a disease or just neglect. please everyone quarantine each and every snake you get! you never know!

I purchased a 100% het translucent bearded dragon from chris on kingsnake classifieds. He said they were 4 months old and atleast 8 inches. He said he would send me a female. When it came in the next morning, the dragon was not even 6 inches and a male.It was also dehydrated and skinny.I emailed him about the problem and he pretty much did not care. This guy is a disgrace to this hobby.I look at it this way i got ripped off,but i saved one of the many bearded dragons this guy has.A bearded dragon at 4 months old should be atleast 9-12 inches!

Well, that makes three animals that have been rescue bought from Chris, not that you would get your money if you decided not to keep it! Poor thing. But with the right care, it will catch up. I have a rescue male here that came in severely underdeveloped like that and had the beginning signs of MBD, and he is gorgeous now! ;)
