    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i buyed a green anaconda for $130 an she arrived with infection on the limb an she dind eat and at the 2 week she died obviously and i called him and told him what happen and i send him a photo and he told me that i need to send him a shipping mony i sended him $25 dollars and i told him to send me a pueblan milk snake he never sended and i payed with paypal and he was supoust to send me the money and all he sended was $30 dollars he is a badguy dont buy to him and he told me that i am a bitch and i always treated him with respect
 
I see you are from Puerto Rico, and I'd guess english isn't your first language, so it's a little bit hard to understand the whole story.

Do you have email correspondence that you could share, to further your story?

How did he ship the Anaconda to you?

What I mean was it fedex or in the mail?
 
i got a wc ball python from reptilecity and it was shipped by the mail. USPS. In a envople box. DONT NOT BUY FROM THEM....THERE BAD GUYS.I have a video of the unboxing just ask to see it.

he sended me an anaconda by usps and he sended me a sick anaconda with an infection on the mouth and she didn't eat at the 2 weeks she died and i told him that i wanted the warranty of the anaconda and he told me that he could send a pueblan milksnake i told him okay and he told me i need to pay for shipping again and i paid $25 dollars and he told me that he will send the snake as soon as possible he never shipped and i told him to give me back my money and yesterday he gave me only $30 dollar and it was $155 he does not answer calls and neither emails.and he told me that he will not receive call from pr and he told me that i am a bitch and he hang up at me on the phone and he is an irresponsible thanks for listening of my message

what do you think i should do for recovering the money,$155,? i accept the thing of usps because here in pr these kinds of reptiles are ilegal but anyways the are defrauding me what do you think i should do
 
Wait... you ordered an animal that is illegil... and had it shipped in a illegil manner.. but you're wanting to know how to get money back?

Since you're in Puerto Rico, I'm not sure how you would try to get your money back. Other than requesting it, or filing some sort of legal claim, I don't think there is any easy way. But when you do that, you'll probably get into trouble for buying a illegil animal, and for having it shipped to you in a illegil manner.
Sorry you got scammed, but you need to re-think buying animals that are illegil too.
 
Despite some of the issues in this thread, I did business in February of 2005 with Reptile City. I purchased four Red Eyed tree frogs. Instead of shipping to an address we had decided on (my work address), they were shipped via USPS in an uninsulated box to my home address. I could not be home in time to receive the package, so had to chase them down at the post office. After one died shortly after, I requested a replacement. This was shipped via USPS (again), with no insulation except for some newspaper, and arrived dead in my mailbox in a box with "HEMP" written on it.

Unfortunately, as this was so long ago, I no longer have the emails back and forth. I would not do business with them again.

U S Postal Service prohibits shipping snakes.

its me jerry okay he told me to send him 25 dollars of shipping to complete the warranty and i send him the money he told me to wait until he coulde send and that was on december 4 08 an yesterday he send me the money becuse i told him to send me the money because i will not wait anymore and by paypal he gave me 30 dollars when he was gonin to send me my $155 dollars and he does not answer the phone neither emails and he shippied to me by usps.he didn't gave me a credit or anything thats the thing

It seems clear that Reptile City has been shipping snakes with the us postal service.

Have any others recieved snakes shippes usps from reptile city?

I wasn't questioning the method of shipment I was curious as to what general restrictions they may have for importing reptiles onto their island.

Thanks for clearing that up Kevin, sometimes my tunnel vision focuses on 1 thing and misses the real question.

I have known for years that some guys are shipping usps to the island
. it looks like reptile city is one of them!

Well, I was feeling for you for a while. I still wouldn't buy used newspaper from this jackass, I guess crappy shipping and dead or sick animals is what he's selling.

However, if you go and buy some crack on the street corner and you really wind up with a rock of asprin and no crack, there's no recourse. You could call the police, but be aware that you'll get nailed, too.
