In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have some questions about genetics. I have a decent grasp on it but get lost on co doms and dh. Can anyone help?

First, I'm buying a DH snow and found a 100% het albino to go with him. What would my litter look like? I figured a few albinos and a bunch of normies. Any shot of some anerys or anything else? What can I expect if I can find a 2nd dh for het to het breeding?

Second, Why does a poss super hypo have to be proven? I'm totally in the dark on this one.

Thanks to all. I'm sure I'll have more questions soon.

You, Sir, are looking for a Punnett Square.

Great stuff, you're looking for an AaBb x AaBb calculation for a double het and a AaBb x Aa for a DH x Single Het

The only input I have for the Poss Het (PH) needs to be proven is that it's Poss Het, maybe not het, you don't know until it proves out, or produces a Homozygous, or visual.

For your pairing of a DH Snow and a Het Albino, you'll get Normals and Albinos, the whole litter would be 50% poss het Anery, and the normals would be 66% poss het albino to boot. No chance of Anery popping up, because it's recessive like the Albino gene, so both parents have to have the gene to pass that trait on.

The reason a Poss Super Hypo needs to be proved, is because it's a Dominant trait, and the homozygous form of a Dominant mutation, looks like the heterozygous form of the same trait. No visual differences. If the trait was Codominant, the super, or homozygous form would be as obviously different, as the difference between a plumb and an orange.

Hope that helps.
