    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Up for sale are a pair of Bubblegum Rat snakes. I had interest in breeding them but plans have changed. Price is 250.00 for the pair, shipped. OBRO ( I will use shipyourreptiles for shipping.) Local Pick ups are welcomed as well.

I am not sure on their age. The Male weighs at 687g, the female is 711 grams- those are full weights.

They are a smidge feisty, the male more so than the female. It's mostly just hissing and some tail rattling. I never got bit by them, never really lunged at me either.

The female has a little imperfection on her face- I had bought her with the blemish, but it is minor and does not effect her at all, sheds just fine.

They will eat anything offered to them- I only offered prekilled or frozen thawed. They will eat mice, rats or soft furs. I currently feed them soft furs, but I have tossed in a rat and they took it just as quick. I can always provide pics of them eating a mouse or a rat if you are leary about them being fed soft furs.

Trades will be considered. I am interested in ball pythons- very light colored normal females, or female pastels. You can always ask if you have something different to trade. Not interested in colubrids though.

What is a bublegum rat snake? Bublegum must be referring to the color but what rat snake is this?

Age. How long have you had them and about how old do you think they were when you got them?

Have you bred them? if so how many times?

truth be told, I am not positive on what types of ratsnakes are officially in a bubblegum rat snake, I know there are several. I love orange snakes, so it was their appearance that made me purchase them back when I was liking colubrids. I know the breeder told me, but its been a while. I think its a albino black ratsnake X albino everglades ratsnake, but this is according to google, so I can't be sure on that. Here is another combo I found that makes Bg RS "Amelanistic" Panterophis o. obsoleta X Panterophis o. rossalleni e. I know its a couple of rat snake types to make a bubbglegum. I am sorry I do not have a definate answer, but I will keep looking for what it's ingredients are.

I had them in my collection for a year, and they were prolly around the 2 year mark when I got them. I'd estimate them to the 3 year oldish, give or take some.

They were never bred, not by me nor the previous owner. I was planning to breed them, but plans have goten changed.

Thans for your interest, and sorry I am not sure what makes the rat snake- I bought them on looks alone.

Thanks for being truthful!!! I was hopping that black rat was not in the mix. In Ohio i can not have black rat with out permits, pit tags and visit by the ODNR when ever they feel like it. They are very nice looking snake and hope they sell soon for you.
 
I always knew them to be Amelanistic E.o.o / E.o.r.
And Reptile Jones, I don't know your local laws, but are hybrids (with the banned ssp.) illegal to own?
And also, for instance, the red eared slider turtle is illegal to own in Florida, Australia, etc... but MUTATIONS or MORPHS of them aren't illegal to own (like albino, pastels, etc...). You should look to see if that goes for the black rat in your area as well?

I'll have to look into that more. I belive that their view is if it has part black rat then it falls under the need for permits.

Good Luck selling them. I'm getting into the amelanism gene in my rat snakes. I wish I could buy them. (just a bit much for me right now) They are VERY gorgeous.
