That's a good one!
...I think your parents were both 100% Het for Idiot.

Oh boy where to start with this one.
Soo, you've been doing your research and checking out business's that may or may not have what you're are looking for. So far a good start.
You take your time, read, learn, and read some more. Getting better.
Then you join Fauna (which is a great place for info) and then you make the biggest mistake that you can make. You not only did not read the rules of this site, but you just shot yourself in the foot, because most of the best breeders that I know will now never do business with you because you come off as a pain in the butt buyer!
Way to go there skippy!! You just earned the do not sell to list on fauna in a whopping 8 hours!!![]()
Those of you that keep parroting the assertion that a consumated business transaction is REQUIRED to make a BOI post need to get your facts straight. Many useful threads have come about thru nothing more than suspicions of photoshopped/stolen pictures without having a done deal. I see a bunch of people falling over each other in their hurry to defend what they perceive to be a trustworthy name in the business. Chris Johnson, Matt Graybeal and Alex Hue all started out with names that the masses felt they could trust..and I'm sure most of us know how that worked out. If this thread were about a complete unknown, I have a feeling the tone of the responses might be a little different. Now back to our regularly scheduled browbeating....
A reasonably good point Dan except for one thing. The threads you described are, almost invariably, titled as inquiries. This one says "Bad Guy". The only two points that the OP is trying to make is that a pic was posted incorrectly and the subject of the thread did not return a couple of emails. Name breeder or complete unknown, those two event do not make anyone a "Bad Guy"
He is just one in a recent string of hotheads that have started threads in anger and only done harm to themselves.
The only real valid accusation I've seen against the OP is a poor choice in the thread prefix. In and of itself, though, I don't think that makes him a bad guy for starting this thread. Either way, at the very least, this may have saved a few people the aggrevation of getting the wrong animals whether thru an honest mistake on the seller's part or outright deception.
Anthony knows about his email problems, and refuses to get that fixed. Despite his claims that he is a tech guy. Countless people have complained, yet that remains the way he wants people to get in touch with him. For as much as is charged per gecko, you'd think he'd be rooting through his spam folder by hand looking for potential sales.
Careful OP, you might earn yourself a lawsuit threat from Tony as I got.. He recently drunk-dialed me talking about how he wanted to be pals and all that, then ignored my return calls and emails. Very mature of him.
The truth is coming out about Mr. Caponetto, slowly but surely.
And yes eight days is a joke are frickin kidding me...It's a damn business for heavens sake. Tell you what have your car break down and then have the dealer call you back eight days later, or better yet not call you at all.Your killing me.
Not the same thing. You need your car for transportation... you dont NEED a gecko.
I myself had mixed up photos while updating my site. Its easy to do if you are copying a table to use as a template for adding more. I have been lucky enough to catch the mistake... but it can happen.
Ive had a couple folks contact me via the addy I used solely for my instant messinger ... and it states on my website that addy is only for IM. I can guarantee they wont get an answer very quick... because I dont check it that often.
Until you have a business transaction with him.... or can PROVE he is trying to scam folks with someone elses photos... I dont think you have a case here.
Granted people do make mistakes with things like this, but this has happened before in at least three other occasions, but never mentioned that becuase they are no longer up as the animal is sold, so there is now way for anyone to look it up. He claims him self as the computer geek and worked for Gateway and yet he can't get his pictures right on his own site. Like stated by someone else in this thread someone who sells geckos for as much as he does you would think you would be on top of your email. It's funny that people state that they have messed up with placing photos on there site, they also say that they're the ones who catch it also. I surf the web a lot and have not noticed this with other sites, but with his this is a all to common experience.
your missing the point that myself and at least one other has made. For those of us who build our own sites It is possible to post the same photo twice if you are taking a shortcut of Copying and Pasting from a different area and then changing the vital data.... like ID number, sex, photo and such. Im still finding ALT tags that I forgot to change.... although I do think I have them all now.
I could have left my pages with a whole lot of dead space when I sold then deleted the animals form the page because Im using tables for my layout. But because I try to keep my pages short when I can... I delete all the unused tables.
When I get ready to add more animals I just copy and paste from another table.
Mistakes happen...those of us that build our own sites know all too well how easy it is to put something in the wrong place. During the last upgrade of my site I messed up the coding for the paypal buttons.... and quite frankly... they wouldnt work. My site was like this for about 2 days before I had someone contact me via email and let me know they didnt work and they were interested in purchasing some animals. It took me 3 hours to figure out where I messed up... then fix it on all my pages. After it was done... I contacted her back and let her know it was fixed and thanked her for alerting me to the problem.... The way I looked at it... she helped me.... so I helped her with a discount.
Something to think about in the future....
I think you should also apologize for that gay remark...totally unprofessional and immature. Weather or not someone agrees or disagrees with you, questioning someones sexuality is just plain childish. Who cares if they are or arn't, does it make their opinion invalid? Seriously now...
