    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I let Felipe Terrell hold onto my snakes:angry: to try and induce breeding. He than gave them to someone who is Hispanic and traveling around to reptile shows, and he himself moved to California. He won't return my calls and I just want my snakes back. If you know Felipe and have gotten snakes from him could you see if they look like the pictures I am putting on this ad. The snakes are Ball pythons, A large light colored male and A large darker female. The male is more valuable to me than the female because he was going on 10 years of age as a family pet. Logan, can you give a little more info? There are a lot of Hispanic people who go to reptile shows, did Felipe sell them to this person or what? Why is it that you do not know his name, but only his nationality? Had you seen him before? What was your exact agreement with Felipe? Were you supposed to get your snakes and some of the offspring back? Do you have any emails?

I don't know the guy he gave them to. He told me after he moved to California. All I know is that he goes to school in New york and lives somewhere in the DFW metroplex of Texas. At least that is what he told me.

I think we have a sticky on this forum about someone being burned by friends. We all live and learn I guess, you are not the first and wont be the last. Sorry it happened to you.

The deal was that he was gonna have my snakes lockup and give them back. I didn't have a rack system at the time so I could not get the conditions set for breeding and he told me that he wouldn't mind doing it for me and I said that he could have second pick of the clutch and he agreed. But then he went to California to get custody of his daughter. He kept in contact for a little while but all the sudden just stopped replying back, and now, I fear for the worst.:(
 
Just got off the phone with the guy. And we will have the issue resolved today. I am not a bad guy I got a bad break in texas and I had to make decicisions that wouldn't make everybody happy. My apologies to the site and logan.
 
Felipe Terrell just called me not 2 minutes ago and apologized for his actions and said he will be repaying me through paypal for my loses. If he has the spunk to accept his mistakes I think that I can accept his apology too. I also think everyone else should try to as well. Let the man clear himself. Forgive and try to forget.

Good luck with that Paypal promise....yeah..go on and forgive...forget..I don't think so.:(:shrug01:
 
Me and logan has had contact since I've been back home. He knows and knew what I was going through yet, we all know the situation no matter what couldn't be changed. Hell get his paypal when I receive payment later on today like I've said. Doesn't matter about before I'm fixing it now.
 
Sorry to hear i hope you find your snakes... i just wanted to let you know your not the only one whos been screwed by someone you thought was a friend. i was in the same situation as you a couple weeks ago. i ending up having to pay 350$ to get my stolen snake back from someone who it was sold to... it wasnt a fun couple of weeks. i hope the guy who gave away your snakes gets found.
 
Good to hear it appears to be "worked out". On the subject of friends, in my experience, the majority of fellow herpers I have met locally that make deals have screwed me in one way or another. A great example is a friend that I asked to help take care of my snakes 2 years ago while I was out of the state for a couple of months. I even paid him for it. He ended up stealing one of the snakes although I was never able to prove it because I had several escape due to a slight 'catastrophe'. Needless to say I trust very few fellow snake keepers around here..
 
just to clear the air. im originally from california. i was only in texas going to school (TSU) and breeding. everything was fine. my daughter was getting sicker and sicker i couldnt squeeze any more time i dropped everything and left. now the snakes, i was Co'breeding with a guy named ruben. Molly, & the rest of the snakes were going back from His racks to mines. he ends up dissapearing doing shows, and leaves me in the dark about not only logans snakes,but my snakes as well. and when i caught up too him he was only half as sorry as i am. as i keep stating, soon as i get the 200 bucks i will pay logan ASAP. i am not a bad guy, some situations just have no other way of being portrayed. im breeding dragons now and would like to be able to gain the trust to deal with my fellow herpers around me. logan has forgiven me, so i think the rest of the boards can do so as well. ive many times apologized to this site, and logan. i just wanna move on. my beardies dont even get looked at, all my post ignored. i have 2500 dollars invested in this season as my 1st season breeding beardies and its looking south due to something i couldnt control. as i said, i just wanna move on. thanks.

Yeah, sometimes things don't work out as planned, and sometimes the stink of what we do, hangs around even when we, ourselves are ready to "move on." Unfortunately it weights against you, in my opinion, that you were gone a long time without contacting your "friend." Couldn't you have contacted him about the situation before now?

:eek:You have $2,500 invested in this season's beardies..but you never made any effort to contact Logan before putting in that investment and offer up an explanation and pay him? The fact that he had to make a Fauna post before you spoke out will weight heavily while people are wondering should they "trust" you. :shrug01:

It just seems odd to me that it took a Fauna post before you finally contacted him? I am sure a lot of people "forgive" you, but you have a ways to go before anyone will TRUST you.:rolleyes:
