    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hello im in need of some help i have 2 09 ball pythons that wont take a meal for me.. They both have there own tubs to live in they temp is right the humidity is right. They haven't eaten in about 3 weeks i know its not uncommon for balls to do this but i never had this problem before. I ben trying to feed them hopper mice live and f/t.. should i just wait it out? What should i do?

First I would think you can expect this thread to be moved to the Ball Python general discussion forum.

Questions, did you produce them? Did you get them from someone? If so what were they feeding them, how long ago did you get them, how were they housing them. Anything you can give in the way of history will help in forming an opinion on what may help with this issue.

i didnt know there was a ball python discussion forum or i would have put it there.. and no i didnt produce them i picked them up at the narbc at tinely park and one breeder didnt answer me when i asked when one it at and my mojave at a week befor the show

If I had picked up a pair at Tinley this is what I would have done. Quarantine, of course. Weighed them as soon as possible, then I would have had a hands off policy for at least the first week other than changing water and other NEEDED contact. I would have offered food after a week unless they were very young, then I would have offered after maybe 5 days. If they refused I would close the tub and wait another 5-7 days with the same hands off policy. Since Tinley was just under two weeks ago I figure that plan would bring me to about today. I would then maybe weigh them again to see if there was any serious weight loss. If not, back in the tub and I will see you again in another 5 days or so.

I had a hatchling come out of the egg at just over 44 gr. I did nothing with it unless I had to. After it shed, about 10 days, and 5 days more before handling with no meal at all he had gained weight. At that point the was just over 52 gr. If these are a bit older and assuming they have been eating with som regularity I would keep an eye on the weights and start worrying when they ar getting close to a 10% weight loss.

i weighed them about a week about the normal was at 100 grams and the mojave was at 90 they are both in quarantine i didnt handle them for a week till i tried to feed them and i been tied again in 6 days and still nothing. thanks for try to help jerry

Try washing them in ivory soap or put them in rat bedding as rats are cleaner smelling then stinky old mice,I have had balls not like the smell of certain mice,put them in some used rat bedding for a couple days and walla they eat them.
