!!!!!!!!!!!!FLORIDA ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE WILL NOT LEAVE THIS STATE SO DON'T BOTHER ASKING
It Breaks My Heart to Have to Do this, But I Can No Longer Keep Blinky with me.
Due to personal reasons I will be leaving the country and have to give up my cherished Sulcata "Blinky".
He is priceless to me and I have had him since he was just a tiny hatchling.
He has been raised on the best possible nutrition and care, and I have put a LOT of energy into making him what he is today.
He is extremely friendly and used to being handled.
He has been fed Zoo Med Natural Grassland Tortoise food, vitamins, calcium, and the other 25% of his diet consists of hibiscus flowers, fresh organic veggies, and whatever else he chooses to graze on while he's outside.
In order to be eligible for this adoption you Must Have the Following...
*Photos of the enclosure where he will be going.
*Stable income to provide all necessary care and medical attention.
*Basic knowledge of the care requirements of Sulcatas in captivity and knowledge of what causes "pyramiding".
*A passion for reptiles and a desire to keep them as healthy as possible.
* YOU MUST NOT BE OVERWHELMED WITH RESPONSIBILITIES THAT WILL MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO GIVE THIS ANIMAL 100% OF THE ATTENTION AND CARE HE NEEDS.
There are a LOT of people out there who have WAY more responsibilities and problems then they can handle already who think it's OK to fill their house with animals that they obviously don't have the proper resources to care for.
Time, Space, Funding, Knowledge, Intelligence, and Mental Stability are ALL resources you will need to properly care for such an animal.
I'm not trying to be harsh, but this IS the reality and I must make my effort to prevent Blinky from ending up in such a situation.
If you think you have what it takes to own a Sulcata Tortoise and are confident you will be able to give proper care and attention...
Please email me at [email protected] with your "resume" and photos.
