    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

and as far as my husbandry skills are concerned hers pics of my other animals an a lbino burm that I got as a baby and an 09 albino boa wich I got from john at kellys constrictors do they look like mistreated mummys ??

At this point Zach has stated he is done posting on the issue and wont address it anymore. I think anyone that reads this can have a better understanding on getting everything in writing and always ask questions up front so this doesn't happen to anyone else again. It sucks that he is of his money but also a nice looking snake from the first pic has declined so bad in someone's care. Who ever is at fault for that I question their husbandry skills. I would have given they guy his money back and taken the snake if I felt that strong about the snake and cared about how this would affect my reputation.

It is VERY clear what happened with this transaction.. Mr Ashwood used an old photo of a formally healthy snake to pawn off his now unhealthy snake and now he is refusing to man up to his obligation of refunding the buyers money..

ANYONE that knows ANYTHING about snakes knows that the unbelievably poor condition that snake is is simply cannot happen in 5 days.. And, remember the issue was discussed with the seller on DAY ONE!!!!

Mr Ashwood shipped out a snake of questionable health, we have all been witness to his poor customer support/service, and now (BIG SURPRISE HERE) we are seeing a pattern of poor husbandry and lack of regard for delivering a healthy animal to his customers (see below)..

SO, I repeat, unless a FULL REFUND is granted to the buyer in this case DO NOT do business with ZACK ASHWOOD - He is a scammer who will take your money and ship you an animal in the condition of the snake pictured on page 2 of this thread.

Michael what have you done over the last few days to help the snake?
Not to be rude or defend Zach's actions but it seems like you are more interested in bashing him instead of finding out what is wrong with that poor boa.
Take care of that boa even if you have to spend the money and take it to the vet,
It looks like Zach isnt going to do the right thing but it doesnt look like you are either in respect to the Boa's care Take it to the Vet and find out for sure whats wrong with it
better to spend a $100 at the vet then lose the snake, If you dont have the money for a vet you really shouldnt have a Boa anyway
You can post 100 times here but nothing we say can save that Boa only you can do that by doing what you should have done days ago and take it to the vet
And for the record not everyone will respond by schoolyard name calling it NEVER works
Zach i will say it again step up to the plate and work this out let the name calling go
 
I have been doing everthing I can for the snake FOR 1 I did everything Zach asked me to I have made countless calls to peOple I have been misting and soaking the snake I moved it into Q/T I have talked to a few people on here and got the names of 2 good herp vets i have spent countless hours caring for and reserching this problem I have been advised to let him sOAk and keep him moist and I am taking him to the vet friday .. I didnt take him sooner becouse I was stupid enough to TRUST ZACH ASHWOOD !!! AND BELEIVE HIM WHEN HE SAID NOT TO WORRIE THE SNAKE WILL BE FINE !!! I dont care about the money as much as I care about the snakes health I dont want the snake to suffer .. and I do not want Mr ashwood to burn anybody else or harm any more animals with his tactics so to answer your concern I have contacted tons of people and one of them on here is a VET and taken all the advice I have gotten ...I CANT THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH FOR YOUR HELP !!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE ALL SHINING EXAMPLES OF TRUE SNAKE LOVERS WHO CARE ABOUT THERE ANIMALS AS PETS NOT AS CURRANCY !!! you can all see this was once an amazing snake who should have been givin great care.. with a little luck he will survive and become a shining star once again I dont think i need to defend myself I bought this snake as a pet not as a money tree !!
 
I just received a text from Mr ashwood he asked me to let him know what the vet said and we would work from there and I should make sure I get paperwork but still hasnt offered my money back or to pay the vet bills
 
second text from zach " nobodys opinion matters though this is between you and me , im done posting and having what I say twisted around let me know what they say "
 
Mike, If you need help with the vet bill let me know. I think we all just want the snake to get help and the proper treatment at this point. I think Zach has sealed HIS fate as far as selling anything on here again by his actions I just wish he would have tried to work with you on resolving this issue. Again keep us posted on how its doing.

Im sure others have told you to take it the vet now
Waiting is a really bad idea with the shape it looks to be in, Im sure there is vet somewhere around you that can see the Boa today or this past Monday since you started this thread 2 days ago and now you are going to wait 2 more days just to see a vet that is not good husbandry skills
You got that poor boa on the 10th you say you emailed zach for days and then that didnt work so you posted here on the 16th,But here it is the 18th and that baby looks bad and yet you are still waiting to take it to the vet!
What is up with that? Or are you just out for revenge now?
Time for you to do the right thing and try to save that Boa

well i just got another text and zach he said " I see now your not going to take it to the vet ?" wow last time he said anything the snake was "perfectly healthy " now he is telling me im wrong for not taking it to the vet yet ?? he is amazing !! Im taking it to the vet friday maybee sooner since i may get fired for spending 2 days posting replies on the thread lol thanks for the support
 
actualy I have to work so i can pay the vet bill .. and i was told by many ppeople on here to let the snake relax a few days and keep it hydrated and see what happens im taking it to the vet regardless friday unlike zach I care about the snakes health how dare you accuse me of being in revenge mode I have spent every free mineute trying to helo the snake !!!!! why diont you ask almost every person that has posted if I asked for there help and asked for advice ?? becouse I have I am takking that advice and bringing the snake to the ver regardless its a beautiful animal and deserves a chance to thrive

Shadera, your testimony speaks volumes. Not that I've always agreed with you, but I do consider you an honest person. Zach, it looks like you won't be getting much future business.

As for everyone insisting Mike takes this animal to the vet, if he is able to find a qualified herp vet, this may still cause more stress than the visit is worth. High humidity, soaks, and some shed-ease should probably be tried first. Although the animal appears thin and dehydrated, it does appear relatively alert, and should come around with proper care. It is my opinion that its condition is not an emergency as of yet. Again, only my opinion based on experience.

A few days is 2-3 days not 9-11 days when it looks like that
But i see now you are hopeless i dont feel sorry for you now at all I did at first but since you think its a good idea to wait to take it to the vet i dont now. I do however feel bad for the boa
You started this thread on Monday you should have taken care of that baby on Monday or sooner by taking it to the vet.

What happens if you dont have the money on Friday for the vet you going to wait even longer to take it to the vet?
Like i said on a earlier post if you didnt have the funds to pay for a vet you shouldnt have a Boa in ther first place

Now if your not out for revenge you have no reason to post more till you take it to the vet
Please make sure and copy word for word what the vet does and says in there report i for one would like to see what is said
 
Steve, this may just be my opinion but you're coming off as a bit of an @$$. Discounting everything else you've said, I don't think it's your place to say whether or not the op should post anything else here.
And I think it's already been explained multiple times that the reason the snake wasn't taken immediately to the vet was because Zach told him the snake was fine and to give it a few days to see how things worked out. Since then he has continued to try to work things out, including trying to get Zach to agree to take the snake back. So why during that time of negotiation should he have taken the snake to the vet when he was hoping/planning on sending it back?
 
im just a poor schmuck who got stuck with a sick animal im doing the best I can with the advice i have been givin .... I just want the poor snake to live .. im sorry i cant take off work rite now and take it to the vet but I cant ..... tomorrow will have to be soon enough
