Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Beware of Zach ashwood ( bad news )

Ok guys I see what you mean about the photo not being there. I didn't realize that's what you meant. When I sell a boa I delete it from my photobucket account. I sold a snow boa and the sunglow and the were both shipped on Monday. The snow went to California and the Sunglow to Mike. Both pictures have been deleted however I still have them saved to my computer.

Here they are. These are the pictures I myself took. I'm trying to dig up and find the exact dates they were taken but it was a few weeks before the sale was made. Since he had not changed I never took a more recent picture. I mistake I'll never make again I assure you that. But in any case I went in to start packing him up and I noticed he was starting to get his shed wrinkles and I thought "cool he's going to shed very soon so Mike can really see how great he looks" And I shipped him. I thought he'd shed by now but I can see it's taking him a little longer. If it was me I would leave him alone and give him some more time. Just like some boas are inexperienced breeders when they first start...there are some inexperienced shedders...and eaters. I'll repeat myself though...if there is a problem I'll pay the vet bills and Mike gets to know a professional vet cared for and treated him...if the vet says there is not a probem just that he is having trouble shedding then I'm not going to pay for the visit as he is in the condition I described to Mike. Here are the pics I have of him. I have one more I'll upload that if you guys want.

yes I have an apointment at the VET tomorrow at 1 and yes you are more then welcome to pay the vet bills and I am mostly convinced he is sick becouse of the feedback I have got from people on here one of them being a VET on here ..and from one of your friends ( steve ) that says I need to take him to a vet asap yes I will let you pay the vet bills zach

It just can't possibly be any clearer than that!!

Now for the real question at heand here, if the vet report states that this snake is unhealthy will you agree to take him back and deal with your responability?

~ Mike Russo

I think if it does turn out the snake is sick then returning it to you Zach, with the vet bill paid, should be an offer on the table. Not requiring him to keep the animal and continue to take it to the vet until it is healthy.

I guess we'll see what the vet says before we go any deeper huh Jessica? Same goes to Mike Russo. We'll see what the vet says. Just a question though...if he wanted this snake as bad as he says he did...and he's as good of a person as he thinks he is...don't you think he would want to care for the boa himself? There is something else going on here and I'm keeping my eyes and ears open. I think he did something he's not telling you guys and he's scared he's jeopardized the boa. The truth will reveal itself Mike

Mike: You keep saying you are convinced he's sick because of what other people are saying...including the "vet" who has not, to my knowledge, actually seen the snake in person and tested it? You said you trusted me but then all the sudden you turned on me...and I bet you'll turn on all these people backing you up if given the chance. You trusted me and then all stopped so what makes you think you can trust these people who have not seen the snake like we both have. That's an honest question I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything it just seems like your logic is flawed.

Just like my post above we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Don't be so sure guys that you're backing the right guy. He's already lied to you plenty of times. Like the hour long phone call??? I can pull my phone records to show you we talked for 31 minutes. That's a fairly large lie. He told you he didn't curse until 45 minutes into the conversation correct? Seems a little impossible knowing our chat lasted 31 minutes huh? Oh and that he used "A" bad word? More like 20 and within 5 minutes of speaking with him I started hearing a variety of profanity. He's lied already guys many times but yet you still believe him.

Actually no, I don't think it would make him more of a good person to keep a sick boa and have to continue to provide vet care for it because of the fact that it was sick when he purchased it. It wouldn't make him any less of a good person to still want you to take it back if it turns out the boa is sick once the vet checks it out.

Zach - I gotta say the snake in the top picture looks considerably thinner than the one in the ad photo. Not unhealthy but thinner :shrug01: don't know if that is significant or not.

That being said I think you should probably state what you are willing to do in the case that there is something wrong with the snake and if there isn't something wrong. Because irregardless of the snakes health - you haven't provided appropriate customer service and the only person that seems to be taking your side - is someone that you are flipping snakes for - and that doesn't bode well for a character reference.

So instead of saying "no one else would take this snake back" - because you've got like 100 pages of people saying "yes we would" - why don't you provide us with a game plan as to what you are going to do to make this right and show your future customers that you aren't going to screw them over.

Hey Mike, when you do go to the vet tommorow make sure you ask that everything be documented and that you would like copies of not only the charges, but the notes and any tests performed as well, and don't let them tell you they can't give them to you, because they HAVE to if you ask.

If the snake does turn out to be sick, then a letter stating the problem, or problems, from the veterinarian would help out too, i'm sure.

Tosha you need to stop trying to make up thing's about me no one flips anything for me
my babies sale themselves,
Thank god i sale most of my babies oversea's now so i dont have to deal with the witchhunts that goes on here and if you would read all my post you will see that i have asked Smash to setp up to the plate over and over
But instead you want to try and bash me even after the maker of this post has told you I have helped him, Just because i didint post Mike's and I's emails back and forth doesnt give you the right to bash me
So please move on with your witchhunt

Mike Russo I'm glad you're amused.

The difference in the snake looking "thinner" in the one picture is because in the bottom picture is from a different angle...and in the bottom picture he has a fresh rat fuzzy in his belly. If I remember correctly he was fed one day before that bottom picture. I had a guy ask for another picture of him so that's the picture I took.

Since we're playing the what if game...What if the vet says he needs to shed or that if he has an issue that it's a more recent issue that did not come from my house? What happens then? Would I get an apology from you guys?

I'm not in the what if business here people. We can wait until Mike takes him to the vet and go from there. There is no use in talking about what we'll do if the little guy has a problem. So I won't talk about that until we see what's up. Oh and I told Mike from the beginning of vet talk to get all the paperwork and he can fax it to me.

Ok, so if you're not in the what if business here then I take it you don't plan on having a TOS, even once you become a company called Smashwood boas? Because I mean writing up a TOS stating what you'd do in a certain situation and what you require your customers to do in a certain situation, certainly seems like you having to answer a lot of what ifs.

It appears you like many Jessica have failed to read everything about this situation. Like the fact that I'm getting out of boas because I'm making a career change to better provide for my family and with said career change...I will be gone 6 months out of the year with nowone I trust as much as myself to care for my boas. In the post asking about where the snake came from and the pictures someone posted a link showing my for sale thread...you must have missed that one. That's why I've kept asking you guys to thoroughly read what's going on before voicing your opinion. This means there will be no smashwood boas. I put that there because I eventually wanted to get to that point but I am not there and will have to put that idea on hold so I can take care of my family. I know you think you're clever Jessica but you may very well be the only one who thinks that. ;) You shouldn't go talking about what you don't know.

Tosha you need to stop trying to make up thing's about me no one flips anything for me

Hey I didn't make that up I just read it in the thread - but he did flip your snakes and the way you are blindly supporting him one would have to wonder if you have more vested than he just bought the snakes from you :shrug01: Don't take it too personally.

Lets cut the sarcasm and put your cards on the table - what are you going to do to make this right with your customer. Because even if the vet says the snake is fine and just needs to shed - your customer service and reputation is in question. Are willing to man up to your responsibilities as a seller or if you are just going to hope it works out for you or pawn off any negative results on your customer? If you are going to insist on waiting for the vet report I'm can only assume that that you are going to try to weasel your way out of responsibility/obligation.

If the only place you posted the little story about you getting out of the hobby was in the ad itself then you are correct, I did not read it. I didn't feel the need to follow the link to the ad, as what it states hasn't currently been relevant to anything I've questioned in this situation.
And that reference I made was in jest. Considering how often you've talked of having so many happy customers and how no one will hurt your business by disagreeing with you here, I took that to mean that you still considered yourself as having a business. Usually a business abides by a TOS, thus my post was made.
And as far as making a personal comment about what you think you know about me and how "clever" I see myself as being, keep that bulls$&! to yourself. I have yet to make one disparaging remark against you personally. I've done nothing other than question you on your intentions here. And if you have a problem with that, then press the ignore button.

If there is not an issue with the snake then why should I still be questioned? The point here is that you people "think" I knowingly sold this guy a sick snake which is false. So if the vet clears him then all of you should be ashamed of yourself for bashing me with no reason. I sold him what I believed to be a perfectly healthy snake clean and clear. If the vet does say he just needs to shed or that he's picked up something since being out of my hands how is my "customer service" still in question? I've already said that we will see what the vet says before we decide what will happen. My customer service is this "I sold what I believed to be a 100% healthy snake, knowing it did need to shed" If that's the case the vet says and verifies that...then I upheld my end of the bargain. I will not change my principles for anybody nor will I do something I don't feel is right. Are you going to man up or woman up I guess if this snake is cleared like I believe he will be? Enough said...we'll wait to see what the vet says.

nvm after looking you up on here i see you are just a person that goes around bashing on others post and hey im not making that your post speak for themselves, But i guess you didnt think someone would look you up on here
But i guess you cant be bothered with reading all the post all you can do is bash if you look at my post compaired to yours i have to say you have me beat hands down
Good luck with your bashing on people i think after they look you up as i did they will just laugh you off as im going to do from here on out

Questioning anything about me is an attack on who I am, therefore I take offense...Dang where's that darn ignore button?
