    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

pygmy mice

anyone know where i can buy these?

Google them, find people who raise them and maybe even a forum on them (Subforum at least) of people who can point u in the right direction in your area.

I have done a lot of search on a lot of different forums. I went thru old post and contacted a lot of people left and right.

still no luck. and a lot of people don't ship them. if you can help, then that would be great.

There is an exotichobbyist site like kingsnake you can try

simple google search will bring it up

well only way to ship is airport to airport overnight express...

would range $150+ and the odds of live arrival this time of year would be slim...

so better fir the animal and the buyer to say..."I don't ship."

thanks everyone for your reply, but someone contacted me and got me a pair.

it's all depends on how you pack them and ship them.

I don't know if he knows, but i know that it's not. however, like i've said before, if you know how to pack them right, then you don't have to worry.

you're probably think that it's not a humane way to ship mammals and you need a permit to ship them in a special way.

Prohibited Live Animals

Live Animals that are prohibited from being shipped and are not accepted for transportation include, but are not limited to:

* Any poisonous, venomous or threatening animal
* Any Threatened or Endangered species
* Arachnids (All): Examples: mites, scorpions, spiders, ticks
* Birds (All)
* Crocodiles (All): Examples: alligators, caimans, gavials
* Mammals (All)
* Obnoxious Insects: Examples: flies, locusts, mosquitoes, roaches, termites, weevils
* Snakes (All): venomous and non-venomous

I m not going to argue with you, but I just wanted to let you know that I have already broke most of those regulations, rules, or laws, whatever you want to call them. I keep a lot of invertebrates and shipped out so many arachnids, centipedes, roaches, and many other insects. not only that, i shipped out a few snakes via USPS express mail too:eek::yesnod:.

* Arachnids (All): Examples: mites, scorpions, spiders, ticks (DONE IT SOOO MANY TIMES)
* Mammals (All) (DONE it!!!)
* Obnoxious Insects: Examples: flies, locusts, mosquitoes, roaches, termites, weevils (DONE IT SOOOOOOOO MANY TIMES)
* Snakes (All): venomous and non-venomous (DONE IT A FEW TIMES)

so you just stick to those rules and regulations that they laid out for you and in return, they might just give you a pat on the back saying good job (NOT!!)

anyway, go to arachnoboards.com everyone there ship invertebrates before. they all break the rules

thanks for the head up.

someone just shipped some scorpions to me from Israel and it went thru nicely.

on the package he put for scientific study with no commercial value.

anyway, not paying for $140 for a crate i can afford to lose a package or two, but i haven't lost a single package yet.

altho, i admire the fact that you feel that it's moral and spend the time and money to make sure that they arrive to their destination safely. along with the fact that the rules and regulations are there to protect agriculture and species invasion, but the insects and other stuff that i keep have special care and requirements, otherwise they will die.

anyone I have dealt with at the arachnoboards have shipped USPS so they mostly are legal.
