In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Deans Reptiles

Why would someone who owes someone money be checking out the classifieds yet again? Huh james?

BTW, james I will be acquiring what I believe to be your home address shortly and posting it here for those who are in search of it. Oh, and it won't be the apartment address in which used when sending the corn. Though if my application for bill collector is accepted I will visit that address too. I wouldn't want the people there (your brother?) to take the blame for you :NoNo: but they should be informed their address is being used.

No refund. Paypal said i have to work with him for it...

Sorry to hear about that. I will make sure to have a talk with him if he makes an appearance at the next Cleveland show.

You may want to leave him negative trader rating. Here is the link for his:

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/traderratings.php?u=58350

Just click on where it says Submit Feedback For burmguy420

Maybe it will be a warning for any other people who may not have seen this thread. We wouldn't want him to screw someone else. :NoNo:

You don't owe Andrew money anymore, you owe Andrew's bank. On top of needing to give Heather a full refund ASAP, you need to be on top of getting those funds together for your sake (since obviously doing it because it's what's right isn't enough for you). Banks don't play around or post BOI threads... they get results one way or another, and it is in your best interest to get that :censored: taken care of with all due haste.

just gave him a negative rating, just very disappointed about that whole thing, on the Positive side,

Am glad the snake is in my care because of the way it was sent and the mites, Now she is doing much better mite free. She is very friendly. and am glad she isn't in James care any longer.

Also Am glad people now know he is a Bad guy. (James don't mail me saying you feel you don't deserve the bad post, rating,Or anything else) You scrude me over. You Knew that Before 09-23-2009 the day i got the snake. so no more "Am trying my best" Yeah trying your best to what? Walk away with my money, Hats off to you scammer. Give me a brake like you have been broke with no money since last month, BS.

(The reason why i cant get my refund according to James)
About the whole "Oh i couldn't give you your money because of DAND being at that show, scaring off all your customers. (Like i believe that's the only income you get) Good, am glad he is. Pointing out scammers to buyers. so you cant rip anyone else off.

well I guess I'll chime in here for a minute...

I bought a male bcl from James a little over a month ago. I paid, recieved the snake, it was healthy, mite free and still healthy to this day.

However........

James, you need to understand that one good sale does not make up for several bad ones. crap happens, we all know that, but if something happens where a BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL deal is going to be affect, the responsible and honest thing to do is explain what happened and issue refunds at request. it's not that hard to hold the payment in your paypal account for a day or 2 until the conformation of delivery has been made. if something happens, the money is still there. no issues, no upset customers.

personally, I am new to the boa breeding and business thing. BUT as with any business, the customer comes first! to be a repretable and good seller you MUST respect your customer and be an honest person. someone that your customers want to come back to. not someone that gets known for being a shitbag *sorry army term lol*.

personally, I take great pride in my personal animals and the ones I sell. I want to be known as a good person and a good seller. if something is wrong, take responsibility for it. admit that you messed up and CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES!

I believe that both ppl need to get their refunds. and they should be issued immediatly.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet, though I hope you practice proper quarantine procedures. But it now shows James collecting money from three people and only one receiving what they paid for while he was crying poverty and making excuses, or make that telling lies that he didn't have the money to make the necessary refunds. :NoNo: Obviously james is a liar and deserves the title of scumbag.

just wanted to bump and say that the little male BCL I got from him died today :( he's getting a necropsy today and I will update to whether it's something serious or what...

no he has stopped talking to me, i given up on the whole idea of getting my refund or anything out of him...

Ashley,

I guess you didn't dodge the bullet I spoke of. I'm sorry to hear the animal he sold you died.

As for peddler, I understand he was at the show this past weekend peddling his crap again. I didn't have a chance to catch up with him and he is certainly doing his best to avoid me. I did have a friend talk to another vendor who he was trying to sell stuff to and inform him this thread and his poor quality animals which he was thanked for and he will certainly be one less person he will be unloading his sub par animals to. There are a number of other vendors who would never consider buying something from him and the rest will be made aware of him when I get a chance to catch him at the show and escort him around. I'll make sure I have someone to watch my table next month.

Well

Well I figured I would chime in for a minute to let everyone know that the animals at the show where the last of any animals I have ties too. They where actually from my brothers house but I had some investment in them and I opted to get out. I currenlyt have 1 animal. Since this whole bad guy thing stared I have given all but one of my animals away to friends. Dave as far as you go I bumped into you at the door and by the restrooms and you never said on ething to me and there was someone watching your table. The BCL boa was sold 3 months ago and just a month ago it was posted that the animal was doing fine. I realize that some believe I have had sub par animals but the cornsnake is the first time I have had any issues like that. I reralize that I will never ne able to get back to what I really wanted to do but I guess that is for the better since I have sub par animals. One thing I do want to ask is why someone with known mite infestations on their animals was let into the show and noone said a word about them? I am sure Dave knows who they where because they bought mite spray the day before and sprayed all there animals down and people still bought from them.

Really james? before you start chatting it up about mites with other people. you might want to return my E-mails....or you know talk about how you Never refunded me...Or mailed me back...or never refunded me like you promised...or you know how even though i even gave you a second chance you proved to everyone and me you are a scammer....

Um james, you are a lying sack of crap! What about the pair of orange tails you just picked up last week? You had money for those but you don't have the money to make things right with Heather didn't you?

Since this whole bad guy thing stared I have given all but one of my animals away to friends.

Yeah, what a friend you must be. Friends like you who would need an enemy?

Dave as far as you go I bumped into you at the door and by the restrooms and you never said on ething to me and there was someone watching your table.

Um, you overhearing a conversation I was having with other vendors does not constitute bumping into someone.

Gee, what about the sub par GTP with the kinked tail that you didn't sell after accepting money for? How about the mites? As for the boa, the necropsy will speak for itself.

I reralize that I will never ne able to get back to what I really wanted to do but I guess that is for the better since I have sub par animals.

And the reptile community will be a lot better with your absence.

One thing I do want to ask is why someone with known mite infestations on their animals was let into the show and noone said a word about them? I am sure Dave knows who they where because they bought mite spray the day before and sprayed all there animals down and people still bought from them.

If you are going to parrot a conversation you overheard at least get it right. But this thread is about you and your sub par animals and your mite problem and not someone else's thread. Your feeble attempt to divert the attention away from you is as transparent as your lies.

This is my official statement on this matter:

This is the email that I just sent him... for the record....

James,

I got the results back from the vet today. The male BCL tested positive for both IBD and Pneumonia. When I got him in September, I kept him away from the others with standard protocol. The only time he had contact with my other snakes at all was when we were moving to the new house. He was near the other snakes for maybe 2 weeks while we were getting everything set up, then moved back into his isolation. The snake appeared fine during this time, but refused to eat for almost 4 weeks. I did not think much of that because I have had snakes refuse food before with no problems. This snake has never had any direct contact with any other snake in my collection. It is possible for this disease to spread through the air, but it is unstable, so there is a possibility that it may not spread through the air. It is typically spread through mites and feces/urine. This snake has never had that sort of contact with my other snakes and I do not have a mite issue. It is possible that this disease may spread to my other snakes and if it does my pythons will be the first to die due to the disease. As I stated before, I came home on 12November2009 to find him on his back Then he passed away early morning on 13November2009.

I have professional documented proof that this animal has had IBD since before I acquired him. If any of my animals have contracted this disease and I lose my collection, I will be seeking representation for collection of my losses. I have professionals that will provide proof on my part that I am an excellent snake owner and take perfect care of my animals and treat them all for mites and any other issues they may have that can be diagnosed and treated. IBD is only able to be tested for through liver and brain biopsy. Liver tissue can be inconclusive, but brain tissue is almost always accurate. I also can guarantee that the others who have purchased sick or damaged animals from you would be more then willing to provide information via signed documents as well.

Below is a list of all my boas and pythons that this disease may be contracted to. Also the prices I paid as well as what I would have to pay to replace them.

Akira (F) - 2008 normal boa - $65... Market price/replacement value = $65-$100
Skye (F)- 2009 paradox albino 66% het snow boa - $1100... Market price = $3,000 - $5,500
Kahlua (F)- 2009 pastel x argentine cross boa - $100... Market price = $125
Phoenix (M)- 2008 Hypo het albino boa - $350... market price = $250-$450
Remi (M)- 2008 Hypo het sharp albino boa - $450... market price = $375-$800
Phantom (M)- 2008 Double het snow boa - $150... market price = $125-$200
Fira (F)- 2008 Double het snow boa - $150... market price - $125-200
Little Bit (F)- 2008 anery bcl boa - $350... market price - $400-$800
Haze (F)- 2009 Purple albino reticulated python - $300... market price $450-$1,000+
Rhea (F) - 2009 50% jampea het albino reticulated python - $1,000 = market value
Champ (M) - 2009 50% jampea het albino reticulated python - $750 = market value
Lillith (F) - 2007 normal ball python - $35... market value - $30-$100
Spidee (M) - 2008 spider ball python - $120... market value - $250-$400
Rayne (F) - 2007 Sharp albino boa - $750... market value -$800-$2,000+
Aeros (M) - 2007 hypo het albino - $300... market value - $250-$450
Aurora (F) - 2008 het albino boa - $150... Market value - $75-$200
Nagini (F) - 2007 normal burmese python - $100... market value - $100-$200
Ruby (F) - 2000 common boa currently pregnant to a double het snow... unknown value because of unknown number of babies in her and I do not know if she is a het. If so she could be worth between $3,000 - $6,000+

I also have 10 het albino baby boas for sale for $150 each that could be affected by this.

I have $7,120 invested in just the price of purchasing my snakes. To replace my entire collection it would cost me approx. $16,860 using average prices.

I am requesting a refund for the sick male BCL that I purchased from you of $196 for the animal, shipping and paypal fee. I have all documentation as well your information. If I do not receive this refund I will contact paypal. If paypal does not help I will locate your local police and my connections with other agencies.

Thank you,
Ashley Caspillo

This is my official statement on this matter:

I do not have a mite issue.

I have professionals that will provide proof on my part that I am an excellent snake owner and take perfect care of my animals and treat them all for mites and any other issues they may have.

Be very careful how you word things.

In one instance you state that you do not have a mite issue, but next state that you treat them all for mites.

I know you probably mean that you treat them for the prevention of mites but its important you clearly state that.

Something like that could very well be used against you.

sorry... I did mean to say that I treat every snake that comes into my collection in a preventative measure. I do not want any issues in my collection, so I take every preventable measure possible when acquiring new animals, including preventative treatments for mites, even if I do not visually see any mites, as well as keeping the new snakes in quarantine away from my main collection.

My condolences, Ashley ... particularly in light of the IBD. How hideous to have to now worry about that! I sincerely hope none of your beloved collection will be affected.

I am PRAYING it was an isolated incident as far as my snakes are concerned... I may be able to list a price I paid and market value on these snakes, but to me, they are priceless :( They are all part of my family and I love them all :(
