    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Please note that you can list your shows for free on the new internal Shows and Events calendar on this site: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/calendar.php?s=&month=2&year=2005&do=&c=3

Anyone can list their own shows, or any others that they know of taking place that they feel is noteworthy. The calendar program is set up to display any events taking place within the next 10 days so you can plan accordingly if you see something coming along you may be interested in.

Please note that anyone making inappropriate use of this feature will run into severe problems with the management of this site. So please use it wisely.

It doesn't work because there is no native calendar function in this new platform. There is one available, but it is an add-on that I would need to pay for. Quite frankly, I never saw the calendar used all that much that it would be worth me putting money into implementing it now.

Matter of fact, I am seriously consolidating all of the discussion forums into a few VERY broad general topics instead of all of the ones that now exist here. They aren't used much and I might as well just reduce the clutter. They won't be deleted, just for instance having all the "snake" related forums folded into a general "Snake Discussions" forum. That sort of thing. And all of the barely used other animal types classifieds just folded into a single "Other Animal Types Classifieds" forum.

I have been saying for years that if you don't use it, you will lose it here. Might be about time I do that.
