In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Ed Clark

Brain, Seamus hates everyone equally.

Yea..he would give his honesty on anyone, no matter who they are. If I was in the wrong, believe me, he will tell me. Even though we've had words and disagreements, I do respect what he does and the knowledge that flows from and forth.

Now as far as Ed Clark goes, never had any dealings with him, but have read a lot of threads just like the ones he posted. So I can't personally say I have an opinion on that matter. As I don't.

Brain, Seamus hates everyone equally.

Yes, apparently he does. He gave negative karma points inappropriately to a few members within this thread for no other reason then he apparently disliked the idea that they did business with someone who he personally does not like. Quite frankly, that is not only an abusive use of that function, but it is also (in my opinion) certain signs of someone attempting to be destructive and negatively influence participation on this site. As such, Seamus has been removed from this site permanently.

And I strongly advise everyone else to take care if they intend to cause like damages here. My patience for such things has run out, and I have no intention of allowing that to continue.

Just as an aside, I checked the karma log and EVERY ONE of his uses of the karma system were to apply negative points to someone. I really don't need this sort of crap here...

Well said Rich, and I LIKE the way your finally getting serious about abusive posters.
You have warned us all and EVERYONE should take heed!

I have never dealt with ED, but I have heard he does have great, healthy animals and will answer emails about advice on setting them up, etc.

I bought some bearded dragons from Ed Clark too. Highly recommended breeder. Awesome colors and prices. A++++++...thanks Ed.

I met with Ed Clark today for the 1st time. I purchased some beautiful bearded dragons. Ed was very helpful and offered great advice on breeding. I would recommend him to any looking for quality beardies. Thanks Ed. I look forward to doing business with you again soon.

I bought a mojave from him year before last, and he's a beautiful animal--he did get fussy and didn't prove out this past season, but I don't blame Ed for that, and I'm hoping he'll go this year. He was checked out and is parasite-free.

I'm leery of those with a questionable reputation, but I was new on the scene and didn't look around as carefully as I should have. However, I don't have any complaints at all with the transaction, or the mojave, which is a superior-looking animal. So, my experience was positive.

Smooth Transaction

Just recently sold a lot of baby bearded dragons to Ed and despite the problem with UPS for shipping a day late, Ed was very unserdtanding and will to wait. Overall, the transaction went smoothly without neither of us bickering back at one another over something that we both did not have control over. Thanks Ed and look forward to doing more trades with you in the near future.

After keeping snakes for a few decades now, I recently bought my first bearded dragon from Ed Clark and I couldn't be happier. She's everything he said she was and more. Ed was helpful and polite through the whole process, even offering to meet me somewhere in the middle for a hand off since we are both in NJ.
Great dragon, great price and really nice guy. For what it's worth, I give a resounding thumb's up to Ed.:yesnod::yesnod::yesnod:

Abusive posters like Seamus give Fauna a bad rep. Just about every post of his is negative.

Good experience with Ed Clark

Contacted Ed yesterday in regards to a crested gecko he had listed for sale here on Fauna. He PM'd me back right away with info on the gecko and a cost for shipping. We completed the transaction and my new gecko arrived this morning!
Very nice communication all the way around. The gecko was packed perfectly with a heat pack and looks to be very healthy.
I would do business again with Ed. :D

Not so fast here

I tried t obuy some white side black rats from this idiot last year. Sent him the money. He kept going uot of town and could not ship. After three weeks I just told him to forget it and send the money back. Of course, he did in the form of a personal check which I had to deposit and wait fro it to clear his bank. I had asked for a postal money order. Too much trouble I guess. I wouldn't buy from the jerk

i'm with the guy above about Ed.i will never do a deal with him!
he tried to buy a couple of my blue pits back about 8 months ago that have great pedigree and tried to trade me low quality bearded dragons and he also tried to give me way less then the cost of my blue pits!
2-3 bearded dragons for pr blue pits!lol.

he tried to burn me on a trade for my PR Blue Pit Bulls.
he wanted to give me 2-3 lower end beardies that he was gonna pick out for me! lol on that.
my PR blues were selling for well over 1000$ each and he got mad because i would not let him trade for my dogs what he wanted to give me!
this was about 8 months ago before i knew of fauna.
i will never give him a chance to do anything with my money!

Doesn't sound like he held you down and tried to make you take the dragons. Maybe made you an offer? :shrug01:

I still don't get it , so you didn't deal with him? :shrug01:

Sounds like you didn't get as many dragons as you would have liked. So you are stomping your feet.
