In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Leo Owners,

I've got 7 leo's that I rescued several months ago, originally they where supposed to be sent to another fauna member... however they have since gone MIA. Now I'm stuck with all these little guys, while I love having them around I already have 2 of my own ontop of a snake and several spiders. Basicly I can't afford to feed this many cricket eaters and just don't have the time for general care. If anybody wants any of them please get in contact with me at [email protected] using the subject leos. They are all free as long as you pay the shipping & handling and can provide them the proper home(s).

What I've got...

2 Adult Males (1 with no toes thanks to previous owner)
2 Adult Females (1 with really bad eye sight... again thanks to previous owner)
3 juvies (All suffering from MBD thanks to... you guessed it... the previous owner)

Many of these are the most friendly and interesting leo's I've ever had contact with. I wish I could keep them all but I cant. I can however, provide pics and more details for anybody who sends me an e-mail.

Thanks,
-Jeff

Who is Jeff?

I'm not going to go back through the threads to verify any of this, but I believe it was Kristin's boyfriend... or possibly ex-boyfriend, I tended to skip anything she posted about her personal life.

One thing that I am certain of though, is that- in addition to the signature being off- that whoever posted on that account doesn't type in a style even remotely resembling the actual owner of the login.

I know more than a couple members have engaged her in e-mailed conversations, may be able to tell if the email address posted above is hers.

I believe in the mammal section Kristin said she was moving and would not have computer access for a bit when she does. Also, if I recall correctly that is her ex b/f.
It does seem odd because I was under the impression she was taking her animals with her.

Jeff would be Kristin's boyfriend, and apparently I am the "MIA" Fauna member. I had agreed a couple of months ago to take these Leos, and Kristin never got everything together and shipped them out until just recently.

I answered Jeff's email to me about the Leos, but never got an answer back from him. I wouldn't allow the Leos to be shipped at the time Kristin requested, as the delivery could not be guaranteed on time from her location to mine, and the temps have been in the mid 90s here, so I would not take the chance and have them end up sitting in a warehouse somewhere cooking for an extra day with the extreme temps. I told him that the weather should be more favorable and we could try to get them shipped here this week....but never heard back. :shrug01:

Kristin did indeed leave these Leos with Jeff to be adopted out to qualified homes, that much I can verify. The email address is his, not hers.

This is the ACTUAL Kristin Leighanne. Jeff, please don't post under my name again. Sign up for your own. Thanks to you I have two warning points and I didn't even make the post. Jeff still lives in the apaprtment and has the two Tarantulas, the blue Cobalt died. He has all the Leos and is holding Jake the Corn Snake for me. I took the two Pet Rats, two Mice and Lickity. Lickity is good and gaining weight. A bigger 385 grams, thats good when a few months ago she was 275.

I am at the Library typing this. Cat I'll give you a call again and see if this different City's Post Office and can hook this up different. I apologize I had to move. There are only four Leos left though. Jeff was anxious to get them out of their and gave the two MBD girls that needed intensive care to a first time owner that stuck them in a 15 gallon long with lamp, and no toes is gone to some new Leo owner thats like 13 and won't pay much attention to him after a few months. I bet an arm on it. I myself am not thrilled with the situation at all! I don't think I'll be taking Rescues anymore because I don't like feeling like I've failed.

Kelly, you do realize the original post was from 2007, right? It's doubtful there are any females left. Doh!
