• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Unfortunately, there usually has to be a first...lots of eyes are open and looking, though; so hopefully, this site won't be quite as easy a target

I also want to stress that this is WHY the BOI exists. USE IT! If a deal seems to be too good to be true, it more than likely is. Unless that person has some serious references I wouldn't go for a deal like that.

on this did not help. I searched before purchasing the animal...nothing came up. It was not until AFTER my purchse had been made that this thread started. I use the boi and it is a great help, this time it was just a little late.....

Where are your coins?:shrug01:

a couple people expressed how helpful the BOI was so I responded. They should help out just like you did.

Your post was worthless not mine. I will leave it at that.

Good Day

The BOI is helpful but if you base that on coins the scammer had a coin so if you think your post was useful we can leave it at that.

I've brought the case up with paypal; been really busy the past few days and only have smidgens of time here to provide some info. This is really the worst possible situation and time frame to have to be dealing with this right now...

It's my understanding that paypal will try to get contact from "Tracy" and if word is not heard from her in 10 days I will be refunded. Otherwise they will look over the case and evidence provided by both sides and decide on the proper plan of action.

I have every intention of using this BOI to back up my evidence, and if necessary I'll probably be contacting some of the others who have been Scammed here too. Power in numbers: and I'm not going to let a low-life criminal steal my hard earned money. I'm glad a point was made to stay on topic here because using this thread as evidence can only help those having the same problem get refunded if they need support to their claim.

I'll keep you updated on the refund situation, or any other news that is relevant. In the mean time I'll try to get the emails up here, but time not otherwise devoted to classes, work, my reptiles, and my personal part of this situation is slim.

Thanks guys,

paypal

iv had someone scam me through paypal in teh past. me as the seller of an intangible good and them as the buyer. paypal should refund all your money no questions, since she cannot provide proof that the item was shipped. at least thats how the guy screwed me over on paypal. since he bought something i wasnt shipping he simply disputed the claim after i told him what he wanted to know.

so if its any consolation you guys should all get all your money back

death to all these ****ing scammer pieces of ****

Paypal comes through

I just got the following email from Paypal: The best part is NOT that I got my money back, but this scumbag DIDN'T get it.

Hello Robert Franklin,

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover $275.00 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.

I am glad you got $275 back! One thing that worried me with paypal is the comment above. If the person removes the funds and closes the bank account that is linked with paypal. How will they get the rest of the funds?

I will also say I am one person who does not like to do business over the phone... 1) I have bad people anxiety 2) I am on a 3rd shift schedule, so it is near impossible anyway and 3) I like to have everything in writing. Situations like this thread make people like me look bad... Just sad. Good luck everyone.

I am totally the same way. TO think too, I was a GM (general manager) of a Cell Phone co. up until last year when I decided I had enough. 20 years in the communication business and I totally SUCK at it. I want EVERYTHING in writing also.

PayPal will most likely lock up their acct. The Red flags I see in their emails are in regards to them being new in "Reptile commerce" but not so new to explain how to Lock, Highlight and Bump their ads. Hell, its taken me years to learn some of the tricks, like multi-quote:rofl:

How will paypal pull the rest of the funds from the scammer to the victim is what I am asking. Sorry for the confusion

The worst part of it is that they sold the same snake at least three times. I really hope that the refunds arent coming from the new purchasers funds. Maybe they sold it that many times to scam one sale if that makes any sense. I hope ALL of you can get your funds back. I would pursue PayPal ASAP.
