damn, this site blows
rabble rabble rabble dey took our jobs
Why would you bring my name up in this thread so much? This is between Ed Clark and Wise Reptiles not me I want no part of this thread it is as simple as that. Leave me out of it and as I stated before the Screen shot from another thread was of the exact email I was forwarded if anything was "Edited" I had no knowledge at all of it (I AM NOT SAYNG IT WAS EDITED) and Chris I never showed Ed any emails from you or told him your email address as most of my conversations where with your wife on the phone I don't think you sent me any emails I sent two to you with the link to the auction post through your web site and one I sent based on the email I saw that was forwarded to me..
And so no one things I am ignoring this thread I won't be posting anymore as I simply want no part of it as it is between Ed and Wise Reptiles.
127.0.0.1 is what is called a local host ip address. It is the default ip address to your own machine no matter what computer you are on.
If you do what is called a traceroute by opening command prompt(typing cmd in the run box in the start menu), and type tracert 127.0.0.1
you will see that it says localhost, no matter who types it in. It will show this whether you are behind a router, directly connected, or even using dialup.
So this one line here Received: from 127.0.0.1 shows me that it was received by the kingsnake servers FROM the local machine that pasted that information.... which of course would be ed![]()
the 127 is a router/server ip just like a 192.168.0.1 you get with wifi routers and such. Not a spoof ip at all, its normal from email servers.
209.198.140.173-Austin Texas, sorry ed do better than that. no way a Michigan Comcast residence will have a IP from TX.
So i think its time to upgrade from the shovel and get a excavator to Finish you off.
This was the ip address it showed the email originated from:
68.61.46.124
Yes, you're correct. However, the other two IP's on that E-mail also have nothing to do with who sent nor received it. Those IP's ( 69.147.74.186 / 209.198.140.173 ) relate to Kingsnake & Yahoo. The following is a screen shot from a "Header Tracer." ( for those who'd like to trace that E-mail which Ed received...copy the header that Ed posted here http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showpost.php?p=888583&postcount=16 ...and paste it here http://www.ip2location.com/emailtracer.aspx )
![]()
Sorry for the confusion of my initial post. The header that Ed posted is irrelevant with regards to who actually sent that E-mail. It does not prove, nor disprove anything.

How do you explain Kelli's findings on post 54?
Forgot to note, it does not matter what email address you use, you could even send an email address from someone else's email account to your own account, as long as it is sent from your computer to your computer, and you will see this 127.0.0.1 ip address.
That is why sending an email from my yahoo account to my gmail account garnered the same exact results as sending from my yahoo to yahoo.
Hope this helps some understand why that particular little bit is rather... damning, in my eyes.
In computer networking, localhost (meaning "this computer") is the standard hostname given to the address of the loopback network interface. The name is also a reserved domain name[1] (cf. .localhost), set aside to avoid confusion with the narrower definition as a hostname.
Localhost always translates to the loopback IP address 127.0.0.1 in IPv4, or ::1 in IPv6.[2]

I thought so too, based on this...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Localhost
However, view the source of an email that someone else sent to you. 127.0.0.1 still shows up.![]()

Can we PLEASE get back to BUSINESS on this forum!?
Well Ed it looks like you are back to all of your old tricks. I never thought you would stoop so low to make yourself look good but it looks like you have far exceeded what I thought you could do. We never emailed you nor would we because Nichole stated in the email to us that we would not associate ourselves with anyone who deals with Ed Clark! Wish we could all see what the instant message was about to Nicole that is in your screen shot. Probably talking about changing everything to suit yourselves.
