In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Awesome Leo Hatchling

That is a BEAUTY! My eyes might deceive me, or it might just be the picture, but I don't see a kinked tail...? If there is one, it seems pretty slight. Personally, and these are my own personal ethics, I might just see how it turns out as the gecko grows and test breed the animal when it's of age.

you really can't see it in this picture, when its straightened out you can see a definite kink. I'm wondering if I could have possible caused it, this is the only one I've caught mid-hatch, and idk if i disturbed it with the flash on my camera?

Yeah, I would definately test-breed. That animal is just too good looking. How were your incubation temperatures? I'm assuming mom and dad were kink-free. Were there any fluctuations? Seems there's quite a bit of tail-kinked geckos lately, and i'm beginning to think that it's more of a paradox-type thing....ya know? :)

I'm reading now about the snow enigmas, all these different morphs are so hard to keep up with..
question with my hatchling from my female enigma and male super snow, because it came from a super snow does that make it a super snow enigma, or could it also be just a mack snow enigma?

Nope. The hatchlings would be all Mack Snow Enigmas, possible het for raptor. Breakdown being:

25% Mack Snow Enigma het Tremper Albino het Eclipse
25% Mack Snow Enigma het Eclipse
25% Mack Snow Enigma het Tremper Albino
25% Mack Snow Enigma

If the female enigma was a Mack Snow Enigma, then it's possible the hatchling could be a Super Snow Enigma. But if it's just a regular enigma, then the above is what you'd get.

I don't know much (if anything at all) about these little guys, but they sure are cute! Very nice colorings and markings!

You won't get super snows unless the mother is a snow as well. Mack snow is a co-dominate trait. The only way to get super snows is to breed a Mack snow or super snow to another snow(Mack/TUG/Gem).

You would only get all enigma babies if both parents are enigmas.
From what I understand it is probably not the best idea to breed an enigma to another enigma. The chances of having spinning geckos is much higher.

Mom is a regular enigma het for raptor. Dad is a Super snow. Therefore, i'm not sure how my calculations are incorrect? Both parents are NOT enigmas. Only one is. He's breeding a female Engima het RAPTOR to a Super Snow.

Enigma x Super snow should be something like this:
12.5% Mack Snow Enigma het Tremper Albino het Eclipse
12.5% Mack Snow Enigma het Eclipse
12.5% Mack Snow Enigma het Tremper Albino
12.5% Mack Snow Enigma
12.5% Mack Snow het Tremper Albino het Eclipse
12.5% Mack Snow het Eclipse
12.5% Mack Snow het Tremper Albino
12.5% Mack Snow

only 50% are possibly Enigmas

Okay, I guess I won't even try to help anymore then.
Apparently i'm wrong about everthing.
