    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anybody ever made a purchase from Mr. John Perkins? I was considering purchasing a corn from him and couldn't find anything in the BOI so i just wanted to ask everyone.

Cody, in all honesty, I think you made the right decision. You are very level headed and people have even asked me if I have had any dealings with you. I have even gone so far as to tell them to try you out and let me know. I am REALLY glad that you thought this one through.

Thanks Dean. after reading some horror stories here I am always cautious when dealing with people who dont have reputations here. I would warn everybody about John. I dont think he is worth dealing with.
 
what baffles me is that he joined fauna 3 months and he is already having an attitude with potential customers i would think along with many others ether he rethinks how he treats people here or he wont last long in this biz.
 
Cody, while I know this thread isnt about you, the feedback will get there, trust me. Soemthing about you makes me think that you will have many good things said about you that will be my pleasure to read. I have had a couple of convos with you in the last couple of months regarding deals, so be patient. But people are defnitely paying attention so just know, not to do anyone wrong or I will be on you hard.

If you ever need advice, know that there people all around that you can ask here on Fauna.

Russ, I dont necessarily think its "attitude" entirely. What I think is wrong here is that he one, doesnt trust anyone and two, comes off not being the brightest Crayon in the box.

All we have to go by here is how he comments (types). It might be why he would rather speak on the phone as well, who knows. If it truly is attitude, he will never survive in this hobby, thats a fact.
 
i totally agree with u about the whole attitude but Dean me and u both know the way he is starting out isnt looking good to protential buyers, he may just need to learn the "ropes" and there is alot of people out there that can help him.

I totally agree with you Russ. However with his standoff-ish style, and grammar, its not gonna be likely that someone mentors him on here.

That has nothing to do with it..You should be happy someone inquired about you..Instead you decided to be inmature,and not take the time to think about what an inquiry means, and wig out on someone..As far as the phone thing,you could have just called off the trade and moved on...Instead you had to again act inmature,and start a bad guy thread on a good seller???..Way to go...If I may ask,how old are you by the way...?
 
He responded to one of my ads last month wanting to trade some phibs, inverts, or ratsnakes for one of my leos. I declined a trade since I did not see anything I wanted and I got blown up at.

He definitely exhibits a sheer lack of professionalism in most of his posts.

Spelling and grammar definitely has its upsides but it isn't everything. I'd be willing to do business with someone who conducted themselves with a level head and common courtesy even if they happened to use 'txt speak'.

My two cents :)

It wasn't a huge deal, I was just a little confused by his reaction to my post. Didn't think much about it past that!
