Aren't threats like that enough to get him thrown straight back in jail, especially considering the fact that he just got out, has pending charges, and has other warrants out for his arrest?

Yeah... I didnt realize that I could press charges until the cop suggested it.... I just wanted a record of things in case I came home and my house was on fire... BUt I've gone through great lengths to hide the location of my house...... mainly because I've always been paranoid about people stealing my snakes...... I have wireless video surveilance that sends a feed to a remote service I pay for...... it's great peace of mind...... SO even if he did burn my house down... the video would be stored somewhere else....LOL

and the Marines made me a pretty good shot..... so I dont think I have anything to worry about.....LOL

In case some of you guys haven't read the old Brian Smith thread (which is all about Damon Heynen as well) it was found out what he had gone to jail for out here in Cali. One of the things was he shot and killed a friend of his and tried to cover it up. Then there was something about him selling drugs as well. I believe one of the most recent things before now was something to do with him being with Brittany. I met Damon in early 2002, and he was with Brittney at that time as well. I had no idea how old she was and what their relationship was when I met him, but she would have only been 15.

I went ahead and filed a complaint with Allen Parish and Lafayette Parish, so that if he does happen to attack me there will be a record of premeditation... and he'll be nailed to the wall with even more charges.........


He actually told me that his snakes were spottless and I knew nothing about reptile health......

It was pretty amusing because he thought that he was being pretty scary, but it was actually nothing more than comical. At one point, before he got booted, he posted on the BCF that he was "looking forward to dancing in the firelight, around my head on a stake." What a loon.

Having said that, don't forget that the guy is a complete sociopath, and a pathological liar. Given his history of violence, and the threats he's made (which you've already documented with the authorities), and his mental instability, should he ever show up, take care of business without hesitation.

On a side note, I heard several stories back in 2006-2007 (when this thread was a little younger) about a lot of gun shots coming from his land. I wonder if the authorities are aware that he's a convinced felon in the possession of firearms?

In case some of you want to read the Brian Smith thread here it is. I went through it a little and found some of the interesting things that came out about him, although there was a lot more. Also, it is a little confusing in that he was using the name "Josh the Burm guy" and it now says Damon Heyan right below it. For most of that thread and other threads going on at that time, the screen name "josh the burm guy" was prettending not to be Damon, and went by a different name. I believe it was Joshua Anderson or something like that, but then he changed it to Damon Heyan(still spelled wrong...LOL) much later in the thread.
