• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I just got a collect phone call from him, he is at the local jail. He got arrest for some stupid joke at the bank couldn't give me all the details .... OMG what am I gonna do.....:shrug01::bawling:
 
You know...I was really hoping this was an April Fools joke...actually, I was certain of it. However, knowing Jeff :rolleyes:...I looked it up and unfortunately Jeff got himself into some serious trouble.

FBI arrest MI man for "not so Wise" bank robbery hoax

Flint, MI (WMBF) - A Michigan man has been charged after investigators say he used poor judgment in a failed April Fools Hoax, that was staged at a Michigan bank.

Jeffery Allan Wise SR, 34, of Flint Michigan, is charged with inciting a riot and disturbing the peace in the Chase Logo, Clio Pierson 4934 Clio Rd, Flint, MI 48504, Bank. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison, with a fine of $100,000.

Police say Wise went into the bank in Flint and shouted "I need every ones attention, NOW...someones car lights are on."

Investigators said the story was a hoax, and say Wise later said he wanted to have a "fun story to tell his online friends." Three people were treated at the scene, suffering from panic attacks however one person had to be hospitalized due to head injuries sustained after a fall caused by a mild seizure.

OMG!

That was so freakin clever! Literally had me laughing my butt off (after I noticed the URL) ... got me for a moment tho, for sure! Too good!
