    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to deal with Wendy. Got my 3 crested geckos in thisafternoon. Arrived perfectly and in great condition. Such a pleasure to deal with and she even sent me some heat packs for the leos I'm sending her on Monday. Plan on ordering more soon. Can't wait to try out her cgd. A+++ no complaints.
 
David, you been a member here long enough to know the rules about posting in the BOI. Is the BOI going to be filled with each of Wendy's individual sales resulting in a Good Guy/Bad Guy thread. :rolleyes:

yes i know the rules, i got my geckos in today from her so i posted a good thread about her has nothing to do with anything else, i post a good thread about anyone who sends me any animals.
 
Please utilize the SEARCH function as much as possible before starting a new thread (topic line). In many instances, it is much better to continue an existing thread rather than starting a new one in order to preserve continuity in the information about a person or business. Most readers are much more inclined to read a single long thread, rather than dozens of smaller ones scattered all over the BOI. So don't let your message get lost in the clutter by ignoring this simple rule.

The point was that we are encourage to post on existing threads.:shrug01:

I do think it would have been a good idea to post it exactly where it belonged..and in this way...potential customers would be able to see any "improvement" in customer service and have a more balanced view before making a choice whether or not to start dealing with a seller.

IMO, it is not necessarily a bad thing to post a "Good Guy" post on an existing Bad Guy thread.
 
and unfortunately in the other threads it's gettign way off topic and too many things are going off on personal issues, and has been taken over, i posted about my past experiences with her on there, started this thread as now i have a new experience with her.
 
and there are many other threads, even started today that have other threads they should have been "added to" rather than a new one started, why am i singled out? or is it because of the person whom the thread is about?

I'm not singling you out it's just recently several threads were created about Wendy and I don't know about anyone else but I don't care to see 100 threads about Wendy Childs cluttering the BOI. :ack2:

This thread just goes to show their are certain individuals that cant be pleased. None of whom are customers.

Any thread with my name on it will always be drug off topic by people who have NEVER completed a transaction with me or been to my store and the OPP will be belittled no matter what. I am sorry it has happened to you as well :( Ignore them.
 
FYI- Just so you guys know ANOTHER new user was chased away that I introduced to Fauna.Imagine that! Yall remember how she was treated Jennifer after her recent good guy post?

Honestly, I am absolutely thrilled that you are happy with your animals from Wendy. But, as you admit yourself, you DO know the rules for posting on the BOI so why break them. Trust me, a lot of us actually want to see Wendy make a positive change for herself, I am one of them.

I think what bothers most of us members here is that she openly solicits the "Good Guy" posts. Now, I dont necessarily feel that its a bad thing to generate more members for Fauna because, in the long run, it brings more customers as well as more posts for everyone here.

Wendy, as long as you keep providing the service that we all know that you are capable of, the less and less your negative stuff will come up. Again though, we just want everyone to post in the same thread.

Now Wendy, you know you cannot post 3rd party quotes. Its against the rules. I am sad to see a member leave Fauna, but, if they were only here to post two Good Guy threads, then what was their whole point in actually being here. This is where I see the problem with soliciting "Good Guy" threads... GREAT marketing tool, lousy end result.
 
It's not a rule anymore, more of a suggestion. I personally think it should be a rule like it used to be, just to avoid all the clutter and make it easier to find threads when searching the BOI.
 
Well truth be known I think some people here owe the originator of this thread an apology. As Kelli indicated, the "rule" about using an existing thread hasn't really been a rule for quite a long time. Here's what i actually have to say about it...

David and Wendy, my apologies go out to the both of you. I thought that it was the rule and not the exception.

And Wendy, please understand that I am happy to read "good" threads regarding you as well as trying to be on your side. I know you are fully capable of being a great asset to the community and want to see you progress to becoming that.

I truly hope that you see where I am coming from, instead of just reading the words. I am a firm believer in people and people being capable of changing their ways. I know that sometimes it seems like the whole community is against you, but, I dont really feel that is the case. Many people are pulling for you, even the ones posting. You just may not see it as clearly because it has to do with you. Look beyond the typeface and see the meaning inside the message.

Again, just wanting to let you know that you DO have people pulling for you even though it doesnt seem like we are;)

accepted, but after your post i did searching of my own and atleast 3 of the posts on the front page were ones that could have been "tacked" on to other posts as well, yet nothing was said, hence again, was singled out due to the subject matter, not for the new thread.

wow, per usual, every good guy thread gets hijacked with ongoing ramblings about complaints:deadhorse for 5 + years ago and get so off topic that no one even remembers what the OPP stated in the beginning.....................18 posts later, off one "Good Guy post", followed by pointless ramblings for people who have NEVER been a customer of mine and have NO VALID COMPLAINT, other than to weight down every thread that pertains to be simply because of the subject matter.

Just like the OPP posted here. There are 7 other threads newly started on page 1 of the BOI in the last 24 hours that could have been added into a previous threads. Not one single person has posted on their threads that they didnt "follow the rules". Just mine. Is it not just "all about me" as it is said I always think. It is beyond obvious as other OPP's have pointed out.

It had NEVER mattered that the good guy posts have ALWAYS out weighted the 2 bad guy posts. I have sold 26 animals on Fauna in the classifieds this last month alone. I have not seen one complaint............that never ,matters to the few.

Its official, I am going to persuade my customers AWAY from the BOI. This is now the 3rd customer of mine that has been treated poorly on here for no reason. They have left with a bad taste in their mouth. I would rather just give them a coupon for coming back and being a repeat customer rather than subject them to this ridiculousness.

Heck, I'll give them a coupon for being a first time customer before I subject them to this behavior.

I will go now spent my time better in the classifieds..............like the rest of the mob that is uninvolved in transactions should try doing. It is getting old, really old. :deadhorsePeople need to "get over" whatever personal/ moral issues they have with me unrelated to my reptiles, quality, care, or anything related to reptiles.

I've finally said my 2 cents, you wont hear much more from me, no matter how hard you try to keep it at the top :)
