I would give the buyer an identical snake or appropriate substitute as a replacement if the buyer agrees to receive it. If that's not possible a refund is justified because:

1. package was delivered the very next day.
2. the snake COULD HAVE BEEN dead by the first delivery attempt because of the temps.

Deb seriously grow up, this was after i was insulted by his offer anyway like him he took away his offer the snake came on the 7th and he offered and took away the offer on the seventh. Sorry about being annoyed that he offers then takes it away and I say something like that out of anger but I that point I was fed up. So Deb if that's the only thing you have seen this whole time get out of tunnel vision mode

I'm sorry but no one here can tell me me that they would fork over another $100 after getting ripped off for $350 honestly. If he had said I can send you a breeder pinstripe the decision to take it would have been easier but i wasn't going to make that kind of decision on a baby spider or breeder normal in a matter of minutes. He had taken away his offer which really annoyed me and a reacted to telling him to keep his snakes because he wasn't getting more money from me. Sorry refusal or what ever you want to call it, the offer was a complete joke and unequivocal

To everyone who thinks no ventilation needed when shipping any kind of reptile is a Fool Watch ship your reptiles and see how many times he pokes a screwdriver through the box and stresses ventilation and not to cover the holes!

A lot of you are going off on tangents and not focusing on the problem, it doesnt matter if I refused or not I received a dead snake and received it for hours later from an alleged first attempt. I asked for a partial refund I was denied and offered 2 snake options that were not equal to what i purchased for an addition $100. Sorry im not making that decision on the spot when i'm unsure that I want to continue my endeavor with snakes. Then he sells the spider because of a thread without his name on it. Sorry missed first attempt, heat packs bad shipping method doesn't matter at this point its customer service that is lacking and I was respectful to the seller until I was given the run around

A breeder Pinstripe vs a breeder Spider? Are you kidding me? A pin is a tad higher priced than a spider. One, spiders are a dime a dozen and a pin of any size will move at some point. Look around the BP thread, you will see MONSTER spiders that cant move at 350.00. You wont find many baby pins on the thread at all.

You seem like you are trying to make a profit off your bad luck.

Look i'm not familiar with BP all i know is that both are Dominant genes if that were the case then don't give me the pinstripe. I'm not trying to make profit I just want partial or whole refund

Eddie, it seems as though, at one point that he WAS willing to work with you. Honestly, you should have communicated with him more regarding the deal and tried to hash it out. Make a counter-offer if you werent satisfied with the first one.

I dont know the details of what transpired between the two of you because neither of you will post any proof. But, if he offered you a baby spider male AND a breeder female normal for 100.00, thats pretty fair IMO. It juse seems like you were WANTING him to offer you the pinstripe male and became disappointed that he didnt. Did you even ask him about the pin male, or, did you expect him to read your mind?

I'm not questioning the need for signatures, Wolf. Everyone should require one. I'm questioning the need for it to be accepted on the first attempt. What if in your scenario I was not home at 11:15 and I got the package at 3:20 instead? Do I still get a guarantee from you if it is DOA>?

When was package delivered? Did you drive up and it was sitting outside?

Some of us have shipped well before this video came about or the previous one from the now out of business reptile shipper. A box isn't air tight if you don't tape it shut like Fort Knox. John from Suncoast has been shipping for a very long time and I agree with his post.

I don't have time to go pull them right now but if you take a look at past shipping threads you will find posts from breeders that have been around ten, twenty, thirty years that also state they do not ventilate with holes. Breeders have been shipping this way before the casual hobbyist could watch these helpful videos and now are experts citing such information as the correct or only way. Now, I'm not stating the information is wrong, that they are "fools" or that it isn't a reasonable judgment call.

Seriously come on are you kidding me????????? He said to me I have nothing else to offer you. $100 more for the other snakes is not fair because who pays $450 for a normal female???????? Yes a baby spider is a spider non the less but its not what i originally purchased. You don;t order a a full size fridge and it breaks and replace it with a mini fridge seriously.

I spoke to Lou I originally just wanted my refund he said no, I said then how about partial he said no. He offered the snakes I said let me get back to you then he gets mad at a thread with no name states he sells the spider in the same day he offered it. Now all he has a is a normal female that i have to pay $100 more for? Forget about the pinstripe I see as a male breeder if it costs more then I will so no I don't want it because i'm not looking for more than I deserve. The pinstripe was never mentioned in the phone calls because I never intended to get another snake from him.

Stop saying im looking for more please because im not and can we just stay focused on the issue and not make accusation that have no substance.
