    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We were invited to be part of our first birthday party last night, where the brothers turned 5. The snakes were a big hit. Here are a few photos.

The 2 Birthday Brothers

This was the divided room, while they ate pizza and such, I was able to set up without the kids knowing what was going on. The kids didn't know I was there.

Here, I am showing them the different colors of corn snakes.

They are passing around shed skins as I explain how that happens, and what it means.

Overall, it was a fun time for all involved. I do think I prefer kids just a little older when it comes to talking about reptiles, but I will try and do my part no matter the age. After all, they are the future of our hobby!

I have been invited to a young customer's/show attendee's next Birthday. My invitation was made last August and the young man was so stoked that I and my critters were coming that he was passing out invitations at school in October. His parents were not aware of this until they were called by some other parents asking when his party was. His Birthday isn't until the end of June. :rofl:

Not everyone enjoys teaching and I think it's an important aspect of life to keep on learning! That age group has a pretty short attention span as I've found going to classes with vets I've worked with. They lose interest quickly and all seem to distract each other at times! I wish more class rooms would allow snakes because a lot of adults out there teach kids to fear them unnecessarily. Great post, and thanks for posting photos!

Well I didn't get much exposure to reptiles as a kid, except what I caught outside myself, but in kindergarden I was forced to milk a goat
