    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy moonstone bearded dragons

here is a guy who said the most horrible things about this site, and yet someone starts a good guy post about him on the BOI. Hey, maybe he is a good guy, but you know what, he can go and be a good guy somewhere else

I said that, yes. It seems a bit ironic that this guy bashes the BOI and wants it to go away, and then someone did him a favor by posting a good guy thread about him. Where in my quote does it attack you? I also said, maybe he is a good guy, and he could be a good guy somewhere else. I never questioned whether he was a good or bad guy when it comes to his business practice. He's banned and should be, not is what I said.

I never attacked you at all. If I was going to attack you here, there would be no doubt about it. What does he continuously say about the BOI. His voice has been silenced. What he did to get banned isn't like the others. No one has critisized you for giving a good guy post.

Eww he wished it would go away oh my god that is so bad. Give me a break. If that comment wasn`t supposed to be how I took it then i am sorry but seriously I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE BAN. Nor do I really care. Mark will have no trouble with his dragons his waiting list is already full so it doesn`t really matter. And I AM DONE WITH THIS THREAD. Mark has awsome dragons and great customer service skills that is what this thread was about but clearly some people lost track of that..The only people missing out are the ones who don`t know about his website and don`t have an opportunity to have one of his remarkable dragons. That is enough said about this whole thing. I will not write again so do bother you will be wasting your time. You have your opinion I have mine.

For some reason most of us think this was a very bad thing to say, and most of us found it offensive. Some of us try to do our best to keep this going and he wishes it would go away. He should be banned, plain and simple.

You didn't need to know about the ban, it's irrevelant. You made a good guy post, that's fine. No one attacked you for it.

I think it great he has good animals, I never said he didn't, but, he can sell them somewhere else, not here.

You say it didn't sound that bad. He said he hates the BOI and hopes it would go away. What do you think this site is about. The BOI is the backbone.
 
I think that there are good parts and bad parts to the boi. It is good because new people like myself can read about people that you are thinking of buying a dragon from. The bad thing is that the boi can not enforce guilt or innocents which I understand because there are two sides to every story and unfortunately allot of people lie and make things up to make themselves feel or look better. And anyone can put a bad guy thread against anyone. Even if they are just doing it because they are mad at the person or because they are scamming someone. And I wasn`t going to mention names but Ed Clarke put a bad guy post on Tom Clarke because Ed was trying to scam him and he wanted to make Tom look bad. Things like that are I think what makes some people not like all aspects of the boi. I also dont think it is the backbone just because people can be who ever they want online and they can say good things or bad even if the things are not true. I love the good guy threads because it gives future customers a chance to tell good things about their experiences. I personally don`t like the bad guy threads used for break ups or just to lie about people and try and ruin their livelihood. I believe that if you don`t have anything nice to say don`t say anything at all. Unless an animal was harmed. i.e sick injured and it was clear that it was neglect on the prior owners part. Because I am a vet tech and I believe in first do no harm. Animals are gifts and I think some people don`t see them as such. It is fun to breed them and get to experience the babies hatching and watch them eat for the first time. But I do believe that their care comes first over any amount of profit. And it is clear that their are people on here who just see them as money (I am not talking about anyone on this thread) So that is why I don`t believe what he said was that bad. He obviously didn't get a chance to explain what he meant by his comment. And if I were him I wouldn't even want to be back on here. One other thing someone here told my aunt to get over it. and I looked at Marks post and it was last year. So doesn't everyone need to get over it and stop bringing it up. Why should we be told to get over it? We just found out about it yesterday and everyone else has had much much longer to get over it. I do not wan't to fight and argue with everyone on here. I don't think anyone here who is saying all the negative cares or is even trying to understand our point of view. I am sure allot of people hate some things on the boi. Actually the breakup thing look at all the comments of people saying this is getting oud and ridiculous allot of people just wished those two would go away but thats life everyone should be entitled to an opinion and I guess that is all I can say. I'm sure someone will comment back about how something I said here is wrong. But please don't. I have had enough. I felt bad about posting a good guy thread and having that bashed but I don't anymore allot of you have actually helped me realize that people are going to jump in and say things and I have no control of that. So no need to tell me I am wrong. Please just stop this thread now. Everyone got to say their opinion and we should all be adults and leave it at that.

He is the reason this post was started so I could share with everyone what a nice little dragon I got from a breeder who was very helpful to me. My experience with Moonstone. Not to hear any negative comments on the breeder. If someone here posted a cute dragon from a breeder I didn`t like I would tell them congrats and what a cute dragon they had. But I guess thats just how I am and I won't change that.

I agree with you. The sad truth is we did not even know about the ban until on the 1st page of this thread it was pointed out. It does seem that the person who did it didn't mean anything by it, just that it is sad. What stood out to me is WebSlave ( and I'm guessing he is the owner of this site by what you have said) was on the 1st page quoting what Mark said and saying he took offense to it. Ok so this is his sight and I guess that gives him the right but I have to ask "Why"

Oh but it is relevant isn't it. You are just sitting there waiting and watching for someone to post something so you can "keep it going" Then you try to play it off as the poster is the one keeping it going, or that some one put them up to making the post in the 1st place, just so you CAN keep it going!! How sad it that!!

I was never going to post anything on this site again, however I just wanted to say thank you for helping me and being so nice. I wish I had met more people like you to begin with then maybe I would have some faith that this a good site.

I would just like to say that Mark at Moonstone is a friend of mine, and a great mentor on top of that. He has really been there for me giving great advice, tricks, and knowledge about Dragons and it's all been just because he is a great guy. He is definitely opinionated and good or bad, he speaks his mind. Sometimes it can come across as cold or without much tact, but I dont believe that anything said is ever meant in a really bad way. It may not be the nicest thing ever, but through my experience with him, everything he says is said with good intentions behind it.
Anyway, Mark is a wonderful breeder, friend and mentor and I am grateful to know him. I dont take sides on the banning, because it frankly has nothing to do with me, and I would hope that it isnt permanent, because what he does is great for the Bearded Dragon species and community, but I also think the Moderators do what they do for a reason and I have no right to argue with them.
Mark, if you can see this, thank you for everything and I truly mean that.
