    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

Truly disgusting .I just do not think , or want to believe , people can be this screwed up .This is the worst of the worst in my 26 years in the herp community and 45+ years of life .I can't think of any name or expletive that would apply to this scam .
 
Since I did donate money towards this situation I felt I had a right to leave a negative trader rating on Christina....I suggest anyone else who donated to do the same thing to mark her for the scam artist she truly is and to inform anyone who isn't reading this how horrid a person she can be

I will also be willing to donate and support in any way a lawsuit or situation that will help to resolve this
 
Thank you all. I also want to say that I NEVER received a check from her. She sent 2 pay pals for $800 each for a total of $1,600. I had given DAND the password to my pay pal so he could confirm. If he wants to post the activity of it, that is fine with me. I think those were the only two transactions I ever had in there.

She does this and then has the nerve to send me a message saying "bring it" - does she not understand that to be married to Charles was to be like him - she DEFINITELY picked the wrong person. I will not rest on going after them because I know he would never.
 
Maggie, i am truly sorry that these 2 "people", and i use that term very loosely, decided to throw their morals, conscience, whatever you want to call it, out the window, and selfishly commit the most horrendous act a person could do to a family that is grieving over the loss of a loved one:( My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your children, and i sincerely hope you find the peace that you and your kids deserve. I know you don't know me, but if you need anything, please send me a PM, okay?

Christina is going to be the one who will need to bring it. I was just thinking how you were most likely a "female" version of Chuck as my wife can mirror me in a lot of ways. What Christina does NOT realize is that she is just going up against you and Rick... She is facing EVERY member here and every hepr collector I can tell about them. The Wises dont have deep enough pockets to take me on, let alone ALL of the herp community.
 
Oh Maggie, now to have all this on top of it. I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this. What a horrible disgusting pair they are to ruin what should have been help in the form of money and friendship.
Now to talk to you that way! Making it into something that now YOU have to chase them down to get that money that was to have helped you and the kids.

How can anyone take away the little bit of happiness it must have given you when you saw friends and complete strangers trying so hard to help?

Well I posted a bulletin on Myspace linking to this thread. I think it would be Wise[ to post threads in other forums to link to this thread to spread the news!!

Its really odd, that they could NOT get a better shot of the back of that check. Even more odd is that there is no signature, rubber stamp, or for deposit only. The check proves nothing. If they REALLY wanted to prove their case, they would click the link for check #9997 from their bank and use that;)

Here is the pay-pal history Maggie posted about. As you can see there were only 2 transactions from the dates 1/1/2009 through 5/21/2010
