    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

That would be true, but I wouldn't expect such formalities to occur, or be of much worth.

Folks, once there is any kind or a deal, and even one penny changes hands, its essentially a civil matter. There's no forged check, just an image in a forum. I am not denying a theft has occured, but the topic here has long drifted from helping Maggie.

Maggie, or anyone, can someone post a PayPal account that gets money in Maggie's hands now ? PM it to me ?

Like I said, once any property is taken as payment, if not enough to substantially cover the debt, its still over. Sure you can blast them here, bash their name, etc. But no more money will be going from the Wise's to Maggie. And criminal proceedings have lost all traction.

Take a step back too. Criminal proceedings won't help Maggie and family either. I am not looking for sympathy for the Wises. Just effort focused where it helps. Just $10 - $20 at a time, maybe only on good days where you sell three times plan, will add up.

So, a direct means to get some money to Maggie would really help Maggie NOW. Thank you.

Jeff is just a little weasel not able to confront anyone. That's part of the reason they backed out this morning. Jeff would have to confront what he did and own it.

The mouthpiece of a spouse is the one that came on here and lied about sending a check. She tried her hardest to shift the blame on the victim. It was her that sent the check and statements out as evidence. It was her that finally admitted that she lied and faked the check. It was her that set up the meet this morning to get some funds back to where they belong. It was the spineless little man that couldn't do what he was suppose to do this morning.

No shame, no feelings of guilt from either. Only statements that they aren't going to get arrested. Jeff has little concern that his wife is now up to her neck in this and how it will bring misery to his children when it comes falling down around his feet. How pathetic being married to such a man that would put his wife in such a position.

They're both putting their children at risk. She has a voice, she could have said NO. Not like he's threatened to beat the crap out of her or something.

Although I don't doubt he used her naivety to meet his own desires, I have no pity for either of them. Gator bait as far as I'm concerned. And from the looks of them, they could feed a few gators.

I'm still just disgusted about it all.
 
I also sent a message to Fox 2 Detroit concerning this story...anybody in the Southeast Michigan area who's heard of the Fox 2 Problem Solvers knows their tenacity with these kinds of stories. Dunno if they will consider Flint as part of their sphere of influence, but we'll see.....

Thanks Lucille. I'm sure many of us could send $20 here and there. It will add up, and surely do Chuck right, which was always the destination intended. He made us all laugh. .

You do make some valid points. :thumbsup: If someone else doesn't, I'll post that PayPal address when I come across it. I have to search back a ways any how for some info.

I'm not so forgiving, and even worse at forgetting. I gotta try and get them their dues. Know what I mean? You sound like you know a little something about the law, but I'll need to be hearing that from them before I close those doors.

If it was just money owed yes it would be civil but you are missing the point that it is internet fraud! this is theft. i went through criminal justic bro. i know what they can be charged with. they commited a fed crime that is a major felony. unless you know the law dont try to talk it down please

This is from Maggies post #318. Another poster PM's it to me. I have to believe that Maggie did not mis-type. Can others please bounce this forward from time to time. I gave nothing to the auctions, and while I traded notes and phone calls with Chuck in years past, only found out of his illness and passing yesterday. So I am untapped, but am about to change that.

Charge yourselves $5 a post folks. Go to PayPal, give Maggie $5, then bash the crap out of the Wise's. The do it all over again. I'm outta here, but to PayPal before I grab a cold one. Thanks.
 
We all understand that maggie needs help and by all means get that paypal up here and im sure people will chip in. But none of us are going to let the wise's slide, too many scum bags pull this off and walk in the reptile community because we dont follow through or just let "karma" handle it. As previously stated, if I rob a bank and then return every dollar to the bank, i still robbed a bank. You have to seperate state and federal law from civil law, returning any property or amount of money has nothing to do with the theft, cyber crime, or drug use. Yes maybe it negates the civil obligation to pay but it by no means negates that the money was stolen in the first place. By all means lets help maggie and her children out as much as possible but lets not let this deed go unpunished.

Just an idea David, why don't you put this address instead of 'room monitor' under your avatar for a while. You are posting good stuff, we are all going to read what you post and maybe that would be a good place to put the address so people would remember where it was when they got ready?

Sorry, Dean ... I misunderstood. All I read was "they didn't do it on purpose" - and the lying, stealing, cheating etc was all I thought of.

I agree with you, though - I don't think (I hope, at least) they didn't start the auction with theft in mind.
