In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I do not suggest anyone buy from these breeders. They suggest that they have high quality bearded dragons, however, I have not witnessed such. I bought 4 bearded dragons from these people for $100 each and was told that they were eating well and were approx. 6" in length. I was told by Brenda that they would be shipped out on Wednesday May 19, 2010. I received nothing on May 21, 2010 so I tried to call, e-mail and text message Brenda and her partner. I left many messages on their cell phones inquiring about my shipment with no replies. Finally the babies showed up on May 25, 2010! I was excited, pulled the bag out of the box and then the deli cup out of the bag, to my shock I had 4 babies that were each roughly 3 1/2" to 4" I sent them a text message telling them I had received shipment and that I had not gotten what I'd paid for. I also requested parent lineage information to ensure that none of the new dragons would mix bloodlines with my currents as I'm a breeder a well as the age of the dragons. I was told that they were safe to ship because they were 3 weeks of age, that because I was being rude I wold not receive any information. These little things came t me in 95 degree heat with 2 heat packs in their box! They were dehydrated, not eating and required syringe feeding and multiple baths daily. One arrived with a small yellow spot on her stomach indicating something internally was failing. The next morning she was dead. The other 3 are doing well however can not live in the colony as I had hoped. I will not be sending these babies back because I would feel bad transporting something that was NOT even 6" in length. Be careful these people are looking to rip others off! thumbs down x2 Never doing business with thes people again. It's taken me and 2 other breeders to keep these babies alive. Nothing is worth killing innocent baby dragons, not even money! ~*Jessica Ambrose*~

Please notify them of this thread (if you haven't already) and post any PROOF that you have (Emails and such). :)

Did they give you a tracking # for your shipment? What are you looking for by posting this? Just to let people know? Or are you seeking a refund?

No I'm not seeking a refund I'm kind of over the fact that they have my money. No I didn't recieve a tracking number or anything. I have pictures of the baby that died as well as the others n I should still have e-mails to them. Also 2 other breeders are aware of my situation as well as my husband. How do you tell a man happy birthday! I spent $445 to get you these n now they are dying...I've been working with Cheryl from RioReptiles and Johnathan from Breeders circle tryin to get these little ones back on their feet n not their bellies! I'm just warning people.

Well Jessica, please post emails with headers. It gives us a better idea of your situation

Okay I will do that as soon as I can. Is there any way to post pictures here as well? I'd like to show the size n quality of these little ones so people can understand. :)

Pictures + Background Info

Here are two pictures of the dragons I recieved. The one with the yellow spot on the underbelly, the spot is created by internal failure. The other is "the runt" of my batch. His name is Blue Boy, and I'm waiting for him to kick the bucket. He has only eaten some greens, 2 waxworms and a dubias roach since coming here. All of them are taken outside with supervision (I hold them in my hand to ensure they aren't getting ino mischief and to make sure that they get a good amount of natural sunlight) I live in Texas, so sunlight is usually plentiful! The three have perked up, but Blue Boy is still not out of the clear. He is fed with a small dropper and he gets water the same way, as he will not drink naturally or on his own yet like the other two. I've had quite a deal of dealing with sick bearded dragons, as a Vet Tech they were in the ER constantly, mostly due to them eating poison or not getting enough/to much calcium D3. So, not new to bearded dragons, I currently own 13 and all of them get to go to the vets next week to insure that the dead one and the new 3 aren't harboring parasites. I'll let you all know the result of that :) Though as I said before, something intenally failed on the dead one, hence the yellow "bruise" spot.

That yellow spot is where they absorb the egg sack when hatched, some don't heal there and die. They certainly don't have this 3-4 weeks later. It is very possible this dead dragon just hatched shortly before shipped. Unless it is just some smeared urates, in which case the yellow is a bad sign for the baby.

Dehydration is very common in babies which makes shipping them risky in warm weather.

A refund would be in order for a dragon that small, especially since they were 100 each. Wholesale sizes usually get wholesale pricing (40-75 bucks each for a 4 lot).

I'd like to see if there is any email claim of the dragon sizes, and ages. Not that it makes a difference, the price makes it clear that these should have been well started dragons.

Each is 100 but we always do deals if you buy more than 5, this case since theres only 6 we'll make it if you buy more than 4.

My Remarks: The "purple down its back" is the runt pictured before. I purchased the "purple one" the "pretty and red" baby, as well as another purple and a citrus tiger (it's brown) I will take pictures of the neon purple, the red and the brown one tomorrow and post them on here. you can also see them on my website at http://hecticlife.wbs.com/ourdragons.htm

Jeff,
I wish I had kept the e-mails, however in my anger i deleted all but this one, which somehow managed to slip into an extra inbox and managed to escape deletion. LOL. Oh, egg sac, never thought of that, thats a good point. I'mnot really used to having wee ones about and was definantly not ready for these three little ones, the rest of my colony (10 dragons all 6-11 inches) get to suffer with one another (although they are taking it quite well) in a 150 gallon tank until my Cage Unit comes in on the 15th...The worst thing for me is if i'd have known I was recieving babies of this age in this heat without the heat packs, iwould have preset up an appt for them to see my vet here and in doing so I possibly could have prevented a $100 4 1/2" baby bearded from dying...I onlyhad it overnight and i still cried in the morning when I found it dead...my dog wouldn't leave the tank side, so I figured something was wrong, seeing my service dog usually greets me at the door.

I certainly Will NOt be getting anything From these people ever. My experience with them was a deal the fell through due to the fact they posted a pregnant female they posted for one price then after i paid that price plus shipping they decided they were not able to sell her to me at that price i even offered them Extra on the front end to get her. They came back with 50.00 more on top of the extra 40.00 i offered to get her. After she laid her eggs was when they wanted to charge the 50.00 more for her. ON top of that when they refunded me through paypal i did not receive my full amount back that was expected going up on price by 50.00 extra however was not expected by the time that happened i had already decided i probably should not buy from them.

Yeah, i noticed that too, thats how i managed to get the first parent lineage...of some sort...now it's just praying that they dont mesh with any of my stock andI end up with Lepper dragons! :p I dunno, I'm new to breeding, but I know better than to ship a reptile thats any younger than 2-3 months of age...I did my research and my homework! lol...just got my website up and hoping things start running smoothly. Got into contact with the Austin Herptological Society and talking to people about how to go around getting licenses for breeding and selling reptiles :)

Wow Ehirsh! Glad to hear i'm not the only one thats been one overed! Small world I tell you and these people are giving real reptile breeders a bad reputation. Like I said, I've been working with two long time breeders trying to get the three i still have in even a somewhat healthy state...they are scrawny, were dehydrated and had NO need of 2 heaters in 95 degree weather, but when I confronted them in a text message, of course, i'm the rude one...some people...(personal statement and opinion) should not be allowed to own pets.

Ugh wow, those dragons should NOT have been shipped yet at all. Looks like they JUST hatched, maybe a week old. YIKES.. Just a mess and I'm sorry to hear it. I hope they get it together and stop doing this, yes that calls for a refund for sure.

The ones you are holding looks Dehydrated and starved :(

Amanda

Yep, that's because it is! This was the day after they arrived. Upon arrival I put all of them into a bath to rehydrated and try to bring temperatures down a little. They arrived panting and gapping. Yes Cheryl told me they couldn't be more than 2 weeks old, and that even that was a stretch. Someone also said the pictures looked doctored. Can anyone say for sure??

I would think that common sense would kick in one day. I don't agree with shipping babies under 6-7 inches. Even at that size i am wary about doing so. Most of my deals have been local to where i live. That is after a month and a half of carefully monitoring them and making sure they are all eating well and ok with being handled. Babies don't hide being sick very well so they would have had to know that something was wrong with the little one.
