In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jeff and Christina Wise (Wise Reptiles) Stole Money from Benefit Auctions for Maggie

I wanted to let all of you know - I don't know if it has anything to do with THEM, but my debit card and bank account have been hacked. Thankfully, I am friendly with one of the girls at the bank and was able to withdraw the money before they could get any more out. The name of the charge that showed up was "COMPUTER SOFTWARE 800-346-8752". I have never had anything like this happen to me before I used paypal. I don't want to give THEM any kind of credit, but please, all of you, look at your bank statements and see if this appears on any of yours. They first hit my account for $1.00 and then hit it for $14.90 and have been attempting to do this every day for days now.

From what you said... it is not a hack... if they're trying to get money out of the acct.. those 2 were "test" to see if the info they have was correct... tehy did not hack your acct... but maybe gain access to your email and/or card number...

Happen to me couple of times... luckily, when buying online, I use prepay cards from waltmart =p.. Changing all the passwords may be a good idea. I dont think the Wises has something to do with this... unless they are amateurs =/... even so... it requires lot of knowledge... they left to many clues in the net.. but who knows... I may be wrong (About the "Amateur/knowledge" part)

Exactly it happens if you EVER bought something online and never read fine print. I bought some creatine for lifting and didnt see i was going to be charged 45.99 every 60 days for a new supply to be shipped out. Luckily i used paypal debit card and they were stopped.

Just change all passwords and you will also have to call the company chargingit to your acct that its falsified charged and they will fix it as well.

Interesting enough, my PayPal acct WAS in fact hacked right after the auctions ended. I was immediately taken care of through PayPal but it did affect my bank acct. I never went so far as to accuse anyone, but, my suspicions were geared towards the Wise's. Food for thought.

Hello all. Sorry I haven't been around. Charles' cousin Joseph died from a heart attack the other day, he was 48. Obviously, this runs in his family.

I wanted to let all of you know - I don't know if it has anything to do with THEM, but my debit card and bank account have been hacked. I am going to have to open an entirely new bank account and paypal and wait to receive a new debit card as well. I doubt it has anything to do with this, but please check your statements and make sure it doesn't appear on yours as well.

Also, Angelina finally cried the other night - she has not cried since Charles died, not even at the funeral - so it was obviously a volcano.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know what was going on. If you guys need anything from me, let me know. Thank you all.

If you type in "COMPUTER SOFTWARE 800-346-8752". into google you will see a long list of people experiencing the same thing.

Third in the search page.

800-346-8752 / 8003468752
Had unauthorized pending charges of $1 and $14.95 listed as Computer Software 1-800-346-8752 NE immediately called and reported it. ...

Hoping Angelina is on her way to start the healing process. She has to accept it before any healing can start.

:iagree: I am sorry she has to cry, but it is for the best. I am praying for peace for your family, Maggie.
Sure hope the lovely wise couple or their good bud david the nudist in MI are not responsible. Pretty good coincidence though!
I have never really understood why anyone who lives in the upper midwest, in particular, would ever choose to be a nudist! :shrug01: The climate here really doesn't support active and ongoing nudism to say the least... Unless, of course, you don't mind losing various extremities of your body to frost bite or being consumed alive by the mosquitoes up north here in the land of shovel and swat. Do you think a certain person who used to be here and once jumped nude into a stream in winter got that idea from his "nudist" buddy? I guess we're all just plain lucky that we are living now instead of in a hundred years when the climate has shifted... We may have been visually assaulted with a nude image of the three of them sitting on the tropical beach of lake Michigan, sippin' on 40s and wiping sand from their butts. :ack2: :NoNo:

Just thought you might enjoy a bit of a laugh, Maggie... Hope no one was eating while they read this.

We get bogus charges like this every year or two. It seems to happen right after my hubby buys a new game online. He is no longer allowed to buy games with our main account. We use an account that we never keep more than $100 in. The bank is always really great about removing the charges, the last time it was almost $400 for some prescription plan. We're military retired and insured through hubby's civilian job, so we don't need a $400 prescription plan.

When it happens to us, we get new debit cards, we never have to get new checking account #'s.

Well if the parties that are directly involved would make a complaint then the others would not be needed. Hint, hint.

While the uninvolved complaints may not do much to help in one aspect it may get the IC3 folks moving a little quicker with their part. :shrug01:

I'm just a little disappointed at the number of people who have posted that are directly involved yet I have only received a handful of IC3 complaint numbers and only 1 Police report case number. Those who have shown support by opening their wallets or by donating items/animals seem to be sitting idly by on their hands when they could be helping out by making these IC3 complaints and Police reports. By my math that was 26 winners and 16 people making donations (some winners were multiple winners and also people making donations or multiple donations too) for the 34 auctions. If the 42 people directly involved would get directly involved then we will have a much better chance to give the Wises exactly what they deserve.

Are you freakin kidding me? Only a few have filed? WTF people. :shrug01: This is exactly why so many of these crimes continue to happen. Because people are too damn lazy to do something about it, or too scared of repercussions, so they look the other way, or put it off to another day. The scum out there ripping us off are counting on this. You are HELPING them, THE WHOLE LOT OF YOU that didn't file. As far as I'm concerned, you're the major reason behind them continuing to do this kind of crap. I just don't get it.

It takes a lousy 15 minutes of your time to file, right from your chair, behind your computer screen, where I'll BET you spend quite a bit more then 15 minutes a day as it is. GO FILE! It's inexcusable. That link again is http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx Do what's right.

Sadly, this is the main reason charges were never successfully brought against Chris Johnson of TSE; not enough people followed through and did the necessary legwork. Hopefully this endeavor turns out better than that one did...;)

Exactly. And the same mentality is why gangs run our streets and get away with it. Why 1000's enter our country illegally each year with no fear, why so many thefts and burglaries go unsolved. Because too many people won't stand up for what is right anymore. They'd rather pretend it didn't happen or something. It's shameful!

Agreed. That IC3 complaint is no joke, and everything gets forwarded to agencies that can help, including your local authorities.

I just got off the phone with the WV state police, and they're in contact with the local PD working on what I can do on my end.

Like Rick said, no excuses. Do eet. Doesn't matter if it was a dollar, don't let them get away with it.

I wish I had followed through with my auction for a gecko or had won one of the auctions I bid on. I WANT to press charges. I was not directly involved.

Those that are/were involved, you HAVE to do this. You can't just come on here and talk the talk... Please, bring those charges so these people are stopped!

What I find sad is.... I wasn't involved in ANY of the auctions and I have already spent countless hours building a case to help ya'll do the right thing. I have close to 10 pages of evidence against them that I have turned over to a cop friend to look over. If someone that wasnt even directly involved can do something.... why cant Ya'll?

Tell ya what... In a couple of days I will send you everything you need to file.... you just have to do it!

Well said.

geez you guys sure put on the pressure.. lol this little procrastinator has got the message. But I need help with my IC3.. should I post my questions here or contact someone privately?

April, its not as hard as it looks. I used very basic information with mine. I was involved with 3 total auctions, being a donor in one and a buyer in two. I would also contact your local authorities as they are the ones who put pressure on the appropriate authorites for them.

Mine was relatively easy but, I have decent contacts as my next door neighbor is the Lt for my local police dept. On top of that, the postal training ctr for the USA is like 2 miles from my house.

We can only get our due justice if we act upon it. You figure that there is at least two people involved per auction, the seller and the buyer. Each can make a seperate case against the Wise's.

We were all misled into thinking that all of the funds would be sent to Maggie, not just a tiny percentage. Honestly, had it been the other way around with the monies, I would still be irritated but I would not have gone through the trouble to prosecute them. They could have taken a "couple" of points for their service but not 80ish%. Who did they think they were, United Way?

I would be careful of the wording.
Don't even give them that much credit. There was no "service rendered" They were not hired. They weren't contracted to do anything. Even giving them that much credit of taking a couple of points is to much. They only volunteered to send the funds to the family. They were not hired by the family or contracted in any way by anyone. They took it upon themselves.

Don't legitimize their latest excuse of why they didn't send the funds, that they were providing a service, They were not. Doing so gives the wrong impression. I know that people in a position to help have been looking at this thread today and I don't won't them mislead on this point.

Again, they admitted to stealing the funds. They admitted to trying to cover it up. They were not entitled to keep anything. This is just their latest justification for not sending the funds.

Like I said Dennis, "I wouldnt have gone through the process that I am going through now over a couple of points". I wasnt implying that everyone else would feel the same way that I would.
