In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Look what Nugget left for me ....

So I accidently locked my 3-year old dog, Nugget, in my bedroom this morning when I was in a hurry to leave.

I did the same last year and she wet my bed. Bad dog. I freaked when I discovered it, and she was made well aware of my dissatisfaction (no, I did not spank or hit her). Since then, she's been banned from sleeping in my bedroom, and all has been fine.

Well, this evening after I realized she'd been locked in there all day, I just knew I would have some cleaning up to do and she'd have some 'splaining to do!

Sure enough, she was not a perfect little angel. She didn't wet on the bed, on the floor or anywhere. She did however, chew a little hole in my pillowcase.

Now just how am I supposed to be angry at her little love note? LOL

Oh my!!! How did she chew a perfect little heart, that is just too cute, though she did ruin a pillowcase.

I wouldn't be able to stay mad at my dog either, if she did that:)

Christine, if I took photos of all the shoes, socks, throw pillows, table legs, books, remote controls, electrical cords and other miscellaneous items my pups have chewed on over the years, there'd be a virtual gallery!

Never has a bad pup/dog been even the least bit artistic until this time.
I don't think I will even throw that pillowcase away - hell, I may frame & keep it as Nugget's first piece of art. LOL
I'm just glad she didn't chew through the case to my favorite down pillow!

Huge congrats on your girls, by the way. I betcha they won't chew on your shoes or socks! :)
I'd avoid the chocolate heart that will be appearing tomorrow
LMAO, Dave. The only chocolate she better be leaving had better be dark chocolate and say "Dove" right on it - or else the chocolate "chips" will surely fly!

Now that's adorable, even if she did ruin your pillowcase. She's just showing her mommy how much she loves her! Very cute dog by the way.
