In early May, I had contacted Michael Drake about some Pygmy Chameleons he was posting for sale on Pangeareptile.com and inquired about buying them. I sent him the first pay pal on May 2nd and the last on May 14th to be shipped on May 18th and arrive here on the 19th just over a month from today. Michael informed me that he had them for a while and would be also sending them with a free three footed chameleon he had received that was his “baby”. I received them on the 19th and all of them had ribs sticking out and one had died within 4 days of arrival. I emailed him and told him about the death and his response was that they were fine in his care and he did not know what could have happened, furthermore, he offered no resolution to the problem despite the death occurring within his "7-day guarantee". Four days after the first death, a second one died and since he offered no resolution to the first one dying I did not email him right away. I was going to take the third one in to the vet to try and see if it had parasites but it died at exactly one month after arriving, on June 19th.I found this whole ordeal to be ridiculous and emailed him to see what could be done because I was not sold healthy animals.
He told me I had never told him about them dying, here are the emails back and forth.

ok so I got asked how the chams were I got from you and I explained everything that happened and the thing is, Some one has brought up that you just bought them before i got them from you and that since they died so close to when i got them that I needed to ask for a refund. I also have been advised by numerous people to report you to the BOI boards but I am not sure I want to go that route. I decided to ask you what you are willing to do to work with me on this situation before I would consider ever doing that.

who was it that had said that???? and whats the BOI Boards? if it was people from the Pangea chat they dont know what they are talking about as i had them for 2 months before you purchased them from me...
(According to the advertisement link, he had gotten the chameleons a few weeks before I received them, not 2 months prior. In addition, he never stated that they were wild caught or that he bought them gravid because if I had known I would not have had them endure the stress of shipping again.)
He also mentioned this on Pangea chat which contradicts the both the email he sent me and the advertisement he posted:

All her info came from my typed up care sheet and info page... they will thin themselves and when threatened and i told her to not mess with them when gravid as they will stress out and needed to be in a covered terrarium with peatmoss til they laid then they could be in an uncovered cage.

Note: The advertisement says nothing about being wild caught and also states he got them a few weeks ago not 6+ months ago. I also give all my animals 2 weeks adjustment period before handling them and did not bother the gravid chameleons except to feed and mist them.
The first one died within the first week, however because I emailed him about the first one and mentioned that the second one died 4-5 days after that, he states that the first one died on day 13 however that is incorrect. Unfortunately, I deleted the emails an no longer have proof for the exact dates. He also states he offered me a 7 day guarantee but this email that he sent me proves other wise :

Well i am already avoiding Pangea forever... I bought gravid females at the same time as those three and never had a problem at all... I stated in the email that i offered an Arrive Alive Guarantee... seeing how they died lil while after you recieved them it is out of my hands... I looked back on the paypal statement and it was last month when they were shipped and now i am just no being aware of the problem.

you only contacted me about one dying, and here it is a month later and i am just now finding out about the other one dying is fishy in my book... I only deal with certain people for reptiles and trust me Pangea people will not be on there... Believe what you want, but seeing how it was a week after you got them the first one died i cant do anything about it... Tell Pangea that WestsideReptilesWV said to shove it and that i will no longer occupy the forum as i get badmouthed and am not tolerating it... I was also accused of getting my leopard geckos from Craigslist when i never did that... So if you want to believe them on that BS hypocrit site go ahead as i will not have no part of it anylonger…

you didnt say anything about the first one dying so i didnt figure you would give a shit. You sent animals you shouldnt have. You got your money and your gone. I have only ever been honest with you and have never said anything negative
He also stated I was demanding a refund here where as in the previous email above I stated that I wanted to see what we could do to fix the situation :
