    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there a statute/regulation prohibiting this import into Fla.? THAT is what determines legality or lack thereof.

I believe there are regulations against the importation of roaches to Florida. Their ability to survive there was what I understood to be part of the reasoning behind the regulations.
 
Thanks everyone for the actually USEFUL info. I have seen some ppl give crazy advice and I just wanted to say thanks for helping. My husband, Joe's search will have to be retired.

Do you see any value at all in having laws?

If someone with the same philosophy broke into your home after you purchased the roaches and stole them, because they saw them, and could care less what the law said, they were going to get them, that would be fine with you?
 
That's all well and good, Shawn, but YOU aren't the one that would potentially be facing the fines in this case. If somebody is asking about legalities, as the OP was, it's probably best to give informed answers...not a cavalier, I do what I want, response Some people are considerate enough of the laws, and the others in this hobby, to want to minimize conflicts and keep things above the boards.

I don't want to argue with you its just my Opinion that the Law in this case is being petty what would you expect from a state that cheated in our own Presidential elections remember? Well you are from Texas and will probably side with the stupid Florida take away of something so simple is just stupid!

You have to give up some freedoms in order to live in society and be afforded the protection of its laws. It is not a responsible viewpoint to say that somehow because laws are broken all the time, they are meaningless.
