    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hand raised for 15 years "mojo" photos here at 6+ft and 120lbs. As far as we know he is the largest Black Throat in Captivity in the world!

Huge exaggeration, in fact my female Sobek was 6ft 8 inches long (last year, I havent measured her since) and only around 36 lbs. Albigs are partially arboreal by nature, so they are very lifgt for their size. In fact no monitor species that length would even come close to that weight. The San Diego zoo had Titan for years, he was 6ft 9 inches and only 39 lbs. The largest on record were a 7ft 3 inch male, and a 7ft 2 inch male, both were under 50 lbs.
The picture was taken at a deceptive angle to make the lizard look so much bigger than it actually is. Lets see a picture of it sitting on the floor, the entire body with that guy sitting next to it with no part of either covered.

HATER IN THE HOUSE!! Largest on record my Butt, this guy was 7"3 on a bad day. Alot of very credible people in our industry have seen this animal in person and they can attest to his size and abnormal weight, due to his tremendous feeding program.

I bet your a terrible fisherman. HA
