In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I noticed today that my baby juvenile leopard gecko has a blue spot on his belly. At first I FReAKED becauase half of his body was blue! Then when I looked again a few mins later, it was gone! is this just the blood flow or something? The one little spot is still there though. There's also a...

    Is something him?

I don't know if you all remember me talking about Rex, my fat-tailed gecko in last summer. He was having problems on his belly with shedding in the pore area and he also had that cut-scab at the end of his tail. I used cortaid to fix that and he's been all better since then. However, I've...

    can my gecko hear this?

We have a lot of bats in our house so my landlord gave us these electronic pest control things that emit really high sounds. They are for rodents and mammal like gerbils, mice, bats, and stuff like that. My question is, does anyone know if my gecko can hear these? I took him otu to play tonight...

    gecko toes, oh no!

Hello,t My Rexy is doing so much better in the pore area. You probably remember me from awhile ago showing pictures and stuff. That "problem" has been taken care of. Next. The underside of Rexy's tail is still iffy. It had sore on his and was bleeding because of the removed dead skin. It still...

    Questions

Ok I attached some pictures of his progress. You can kind of see the pinkishness at the top of his tail (opposite end of the scab) and I don't know where it is coming from. The upper part of his body is white. He's had it before, and then it went away in a day, but it hasn't gone away yet. He...

    Big problem!@

You must all think I'm a terribly gecko owner but really I'm not! A problem just sprung up tonight and I'm emailing the good vet I saw pics and whatnot but I need an answer of what to do before I get an answer from her. I'm assuming a lot of you have dealt with gecko cuts and bleeding before...

    FINALLY know whats wrong

I know you're all probably sick of hearing about Rexy but I went to another vet today (I've traveled 8 hours now for this critter) and found out for SURE this time what is wrong with him. A lot of you didn't know what was wrong so I can tell you so next time you do! And if anyone ever needs...

    My Rexy

Okay here is the update on Rex. I have no idea what in the world is going on anymore so I'll just say what I see. So he shed last night. I also have another question because I had helped him remove his shedding. I think I may have done it a little early. Because when he jerked his leg he tore...

    update on my rexy!

Okay so I posted a few days ago about my fat tailed gecko. I posted a couple of pictures on him and many people said that there was something wrong with him, etc.... Well he had his vet visit today and there's nothing wrong with him! THe vet said that it is normal to have the slit there (which...

Please help! Summarized progress from below.....

Okay so we came to the conclusion my gecko has dead skin around his pore area under his belly. I took the advice, soaked him in water, and was able to get that huge wad of skin off of the belly. However, these sharp (i think dead skin) things are still poking into him and I don't know why! I'm...

    is this bad?

I have an African fat tailed gecko and I noticed for awhile now this part of my gecko. I read a little bit about prolapse but I don't know if that is what this is because a) he's had it for quite a while and I would think he'd be dead and b) it's not bloody looking. I've looked at other pictures...
