• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

    False Water Cobra, Adult

    0.1 False Water, '00 or '01, and about 6 ft long. She is hand tame (I free hand my FWs) and normally a total doll but on rare occassions a little testy. My FWs eat fresh killed so that they don't associate heat and movement with food. Her testiness was something that happened early on so she...

    Oak Snake, Adult

    1.0 Gorgeous gigantic Oak phase Grey Rat. 6 ft long and pale in coloring. I named him Loverboy because he always gets twitchy with my arm. Randy cuss! LOL! Great eater and healthy except for one bubble of fat that doesn't give him a smooth line. I'm only asking $40 for him, an adoption fee...

    Male Charcoal, adult

    1.0 charcoal, adult, over 4 ft long. He's a nice tame snake, mature and more than ready for breeding this coming spring. Never been a problem eater...just a lone boy in my collection. Ghost pairing questions for Rich

    I bought a trio of '02 Ghosts from Home Grown Herps two years ago. Two of them were from your Silver Queen line, Rich. (J. K. had purchased the parents of my snakes from you.) I let my trio breed for the first time this year and one of the two clutches hatched 5 days ago. This girl had 15 eggs...

    Does Albinoism equal weakness?

    I just lost one of my leos, a male tremper albino. He was my daughter's favorite and my only albino. The only change to his diet or habitat was an online order of crickets. BUT, every one of my leos had eaten from that batch. He was one of my best eaters, had great body weight, was active...

    Hisser keeping?

    My hissers delivered a whole bunch of babies but most have escaped...I've been keeping them in a Kritter Keeper, as was suggested by the person who gave it to me, but the babies can squeeze out of the top vents. I tried keeping the roaches in a flip-top plastic box, shoebox size, but the...
